Easy to grab and easy to hold, the JBL Grip is the speaker that’s always within reach. The JBL Grip is powerful for its size. JBL Grip may be compact, but its pro sound is big—punchy bass and crystal-clear highs. Whether it’s setting the vibe for mindful morning stretches or soundtracking lazy beach days, the JBL Grip is our go-to. The built-in ambient light on the back panel adapts to the moment, so you can set the mood for chill date nights and spontaneous hangs. Use the convenient side-panel control button to switch between light themes, so the mood is always right whether you’re winding down or turning up. Did we mention it’s super tough? The JBL Grip is built to handle anything. With an industry-leading IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, it goes wherever we do. Its drop-proof design means it can survive a hard fall onto concrete—no party fouls here. All that, plus up to 14 hours of playtime with Playtime Boost. When friends roll through, we’re using Auracast™ to stereo pair two Grips for instant surround sound. Why stop there? We can connect as many JBL Auracast™-enabled speakers as we’ve got for an all-out sound experience. Solo chillin’ or vibing with the crew—the JBL Grip is as flexible as we are.

Lasts a full day or more on a single charge.

Connects instantly to devices without issues.

Delivers clear sound despite compact size.

Speaker's small dimensions make it highly portable.

Does not come with a charging cord or adapter.

With a size of a 12oz can of energy drink, this little bluetooth speaker packs a serious PUNCH 👊🔊🎶🎵🎼 & without reading into the specs, I swear there's a subwoofer built-in - very loud & punchy bass, rattled the countertop I placed it on! At less than 50% volume, this beast can fill up a small bedroom & heck even a kitchen or living room! Its companion app is pretty intuitive & upon receipt when connected to my phone, it did prompt me to install a software update to the speaker. In the app, there are options for the light's color selections & strobing effects, or you can completely shut it off. Preset EQ selections are available in the app as well as an option to customize. There's a physical button to cycle through the light function in case you don't have your phone/app readily available. The size & shape is uber portable, fits right in my backpack's side pocket where water bottles & compact umbrellas go (see pic). Does not come with a usb-a to usb-c cable, just the speaker itself. This could very well be my go-to bluetooth speaker with a battery life advertised at +/-14 hours, easy to transport & brings the party!!!

Loud & Powerful

jbl.com

I received my speaker yesterday and it is amazing. I love the sound and I am looking forward to seeing it's potential when using it in different environments. The app is easy to use and the setup was simple. The buttons provided, on the grip itself, make it so I don't have to have my phone in hand to change settings. Because the grip provides easy to locate buttons, I can change lighting, volume, or power off with ease. Great product!

Amazing speaker!

How much JBL grip over a week now it's perfect great face great quality we have the volume mid-level last 14 hours if you blast it obviously the battery runs down after about 6 hours when on full high volume not to small and it beats having headphones on your head. In this hot weather Would recommend great base great mid range perfect.

Perfect speaker all round great quality

Bought a JBL Grip a few weeks ago and I've been very happy with the sound quality and battery life. The volume range is great too - whisper quiet to loud enough for parties. Keep in mind that the USB-C charging cable is not included - I didn't realize when I purchased it (not a big deal if you already have a USB-C laying around). Overall very happy with it and I'm considering buying another to test out the speaker synching feature.

Amazing Quality

This was a special birthday gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. She got is a month ago and has been using it regularly. She loves to take it to the beach and show it off.

Custom Speaker!

Smaller then I expected but puts out some good sound. Its incredibly easy to use and the sound is strong for its size. IP68 rating is awesome. For the price range and size with all the features this is the best speaker on the market today.

Okay first of all thank you so much!!!💖 For making personalized JBL!! For years I loved your brand, I got so many JBL speakers! But this one is special to me, because it's my angel fur baby picture . Having his picture on my speaker, has a special meaning in my heart. I call my speaker name DJ Coconut 🤍 Also I can tell my speakers from another, because mines is customized Thanks so much again for customizing and personalizing speakers!!!!

My Bunny customized JBL🤍

Love it, beautiful sound quality, wish battery could last longer, but still totally satisfied of the product.

Excellent speaker

Good sound quality but didn’t come with a cord to recharge. For the money at least include a charging cord.

walmart.com

Everything about it is great and the personalization came out even better. But the battery lasts no where near 10 hours let alone 14. I've been using it for work and I'm lucky if I get 5 hours out of it 👎🏽👎🏽 edit: they keep replying that it only lasts if the volume is low and no bass which I think defeats the purpose of the speaker and should at least be included in the description. Who is buying a speaker to keep it at a low volume?

Battery life about 5 hrs
