I went in not expecting much, but I was very surprised by how good these sound. They have a very pleasant sound signature. Everything sounds very natural and well balanced. The bass has a nice punch with an excellent sub-bass rumble. It never gets overly muddy like some other headsets I have used in the past. Everything sounds very clear, they really do sound excellent. I haven't had any issue hearing directional cues in games. It is really easy to distinguish where sounds are coming from and that makes them especially  immersive in FPS games.

They are made entirely from plastic but this isn't necessarily a bad thing as they feel well made and robust, I have no worries over the build quality. They are very lightweight and that is something that I appreciate from a gaming headset. I have used these things for hours without any issue. It may look like just a small amount of padding on the headband but I haven't experienced any pain at all. The material on the ear pads is great, it never gets hot or sweaty and it feels nice and soft. I am even able to wear glasses without any issue.

The microphone sounds very good at this price point, clear and natural sounding. I have had zero complaints from my friends, no cross-talk or bleed from my game audio either. My only real complaint is that I prefer to have a flip to mute microphone rather than detachable, but that is personal preference. The microphone mute and volume wheel are positioned on the left ear cup and are easy to access.

Overall I think you will have hard time finding a better sounding headset at this price point. I have been very happy with my purchase and have no trouble recommending them to anyone else. They have the added benefit of complete compatibility with any device that supports 3.5 mm audio output.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed some headphones to use in my studio that were simple but comfortable and sturdy and have wired connection. A microphone is necessary but not all the time. After shopping around I got these. They have a volume control and the microphone Is removable or can just be switched off. They're lighter than they look and very comfortable. Plus as you'd expect from JBL, they sound fantastic. They have all the qualities I need. I highly recommend these headphones.

You get what you pay for!

Great for gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive my JBL Quantum100 M2 headset! Right out of the box these appear to be very good quality. 

Likes: 1) Good fit - lightweight and comfortable. 2) Snug and although not noise canceling , blocks out a lot of extraneous sounds. 3) Great sound quality. My kids definitely approve of the sound. 

My overall impression is that although I'm normally Team Wireless for portability reasons, these will likely be my go-to for gaming and off camera work calls.

Great sound quality for wired over-ear headphones.

I Bought This Almost A Month Ago But It Must Be A Shortage In The Wire Or Something. When I play on the game, I can hear my teammates but if i talk they cant hear me. I have to unplug it out of my controller just to talk. I tried to contact someone but i didnt wanna refund because I actually like the sound quality. I wanted to see if i could get another pair but they didnt have that option because i would have sent these back for another pair.

Great Sound Quality But Shortage In Wire

The headphones work at intended and the mic is ok. It's a nice feature to have a mute for the mic on the device as well as a volume adjustment. My only complaint is that ANY movement of your head results in the right side to creak and make obnoxious amounts of noise, regardless of how tight or loose you've adjusted it to, so that gets irritating. Do not chew gum either, that's worse.

Ok but could improve

The sound is ok, but the materias of the headset feels so cheap and week. The plastic feels like it will brocken anytime and the wire is extremely thin.

This product didn't work with my computer. It doesn't have a usb connection, only a single audio cable. It's supposed to be both mic and headphones, but my computer doesn't recognize both, my computer only recognizes audio or only the mic, but not both at the same time. I tried all of the jacks on my computer but it didn't fix the problem.

Headset didn't work with my computer

I bought this headphone thingy. It would be halfway decent cuz it's a JBL but now I'm angry because I got the worst Mike I've ever bought. The microphone did not actually have any good quality in it. I was very disappointed in everything. It just did not work at all. It was fuzzy. I was not able to hear myself and when I did hear myself it was all echoy fuzzy. The headset quality is fine. The mic quality is terrible. Do not buy this for the mic one star.
