Backpack is better than I thought. Didn't realize there was a zipper all the way in the back or a computer which works because my son has to bring his computer back-and-forth to school with him. The only thing is he wishes it was in red. Witch I had one like this when I was in school.

Love the quality and the price of this backpack!
Jansport always has a LIFETIME warranty on their products, which is why they have
such an excellent reputation!
There are 2 versions of this backpack, one is sold at the 'namebrand' shoe store, that has a few less pockets.  The Larger student backpack, which is the one I purchased here, has more pockets and for this price, is an EXCELLENT value for the money!
Especially since it has the cushioned compartment for a laptop;  the extra pockts for storing pens, pencils, scissors...it even has a clip inside for holding a miniature wallet for spare change!  It also has the pocket for a calculator or other supplies...the upper
top front pocket is great for storing headphones or your phone; and even another smaller pocket for your ear buds;  even if you need to carry makeup or extra socks...plenty of options for all of the storage pockets!
I LOVE JANSPORT!  (for the larger (Big Student' backpacks, they can be extremely pricey/upwards to $90...so, for the $45.00 that I paid, I bought 2!  The pattern is highly
impressive and the canvas type of fabric is fade resistant, durable and machine washable! I like to drip-dry, personally...but you can dry in the dryer; I would only do 20 minutes, air dry the rest of the time! (just so you don't get the 'wrinkle' affect from being squeezed in the dryer).

The bag is great and wonderful. I wish they gave some inside pockets to hide something etc. and some side pockets too.

Love this backpack!  Bought it for my freshman grandaughter! She loved it! Very sturdy , I highly recommend! Great quality , name still stands tall!

solid backpack for my high schooler. just wish there was water bottle holders on each side of the backpack instead of
just on one side.

I bought 1 of these at a different store and liked the space and quality. This one has the same space but lower quality.

No outside pockets

Today is the first day we've used this backpack and as we were getting into the car for the first day of school the strap broke off!!! And it's non returnable. Buyers beware,I do not believe this is a real Jansport!

This bag breaks so easily I've only had it for five months and I didn't even use it for two of the five i have to get a new bag now because first it was the handle and now it's the straps on the bag
