Nice fit and beautiful feminine colors and pattern designs. These briefs measure true to size if you go by the hips measurement. I'm right under about 41" hips, and the size 7 fits me perfectly. I have noticed an improvement in the pattern designs in the last few years and am very happy with these, between Jockey "Elance" and "Classic" briefs, these are the best 'brief'-style panties you can buy! I recently tried the two other big brands of underwear and they didn't come close to the comfort, fit, and softness of the Jockeys! 5 stars for me!

These are, by far, the MOST comfortable undies a woman can wear! The fabric is great, they are nearly indestructible, they are true to size, they wash and dry (I wash on warm and dry on delicate), wonderfully!
My biggest suggestion for me and people like me (sensory processing disorder) would be to really stitch the side seam down so it's not "digging" into the skin.

Elance Briefs are the Bombdiggity!

I have loved & worn these panties for 30 years. Prior to that, I wore the hip huggers. They hold up very well last a long time. I love how Jockey stands behind their products. Recently received a defective pack, with one leg larger than the other. Sent pictures, they replaced them right away. Only thing I would do different on these panties, is have a white center panel, so that dyes aren't against the body. Of course, I could buy all white panties, lol, but I love the tan & pink, as well as white.

I've been wearing Jockey all cotton elance briefs for many years, always a size 8. I recently lost 67 lbs. My bra size, tops & pants all went down 3 sizes. But not the briefs. I even bought 2 packs of size 7. Nope, not quite yet. Actually, a trip through the dryer for the 8s will probably fit best. Isn't that strange? I was so hopeful of getting out of the plus size.

As is always the case, the cotton fabric is soft and light enough not to be bulky.  I find, however, that I prefer the smooth waistband of Jockey's Classic Brief to the shirred one of Elance.  Personal preference, I know, but in the future I'll purchase the Classic Brief.  As is always the case, I wish I were given the option of selecting the colors and patterns I like rather than being locked into Jockey's choices for me.

Prefer Classic Waistband

My issue with Jockey Elance is that the pants in a 6 pack are all different sizes.... there is no consistency.  I have tried both hipsters and briefs to try to get all the same size, but every time there are 3-4 that fit and 2-3 that are a completely different size.  I don't know if that is due to stitching machines or packing but it is annoying to pay the price for good quality underwear and only be able to use half of them.  This has been going on for 2 years and 6 different packages because I do like the quality and design of Jockey elance, but only half of the package are the right size, so its time to warn people.

Sizing of Jockey pants

I would like a return label to return this item. These are not the same design as previous Jockey briefs. Previous waistband lay flat, no "gatgering stitches around waist and legs. These very frankly look like old lady panties. Not up to jockey style!!

Thought I was ordering the same style of previous purchase. I kept the plastic bag that held the briefs purchased three years ago because I wanted the item number. I used that information with this sale, but was surprised by the fabric texture and style difference of the briefs I received. I'll see how well they last.

Same name, different design

I decided to purchase the Jockey 6 pack black Elance briefs when i saw the November online promotion. I have been a faithful customer for many years. The briefs arrived and immediately i noticed the quality of the cotton is noticeably thinner than older briefs i have from a 3 pack of elance and the size 7 is a little smaller.  I washed the pairs and the cotton fabric is a little more transparent. The quality does not feel the same. Is the company cutting back on the quality of a product so well trusted by consumers?
