I find the pouch underwear provide more utility, convenience, and comfort than the vertical opening. Accessing the top opening pouch is a simple one-handed smooth movement. Opening both sides of the vertical opening is more complex. Tucking the package back into the pouch is also simpler and safer, with less chance of exposure to the trouser zipper. The underwear material and design cradle and support perfectly without chafing.

So comfy my new goto underwear jockey pouch 10” midway brief xl love these brief just long enough and the pouch is very useful keeps everything together I love these and I buy this every time I need new underwear it is well worth the money and you won't be sorry I am 6'4” and 245 the underwear fits great big guy very happy with my underwear

These are really comfortable not to tight very supportive and the pouch holds everything together. They fit true to size
The quality could be better some strings hanging out
I am 6'4” and they fit perfectly I am 245 and don't have any issues.

Have been wearing this style for over 10 years and I am always completely satisfied with them. Shall continue to buy them as long as needed.

Long lasting product and value

The size chart on the web page did not agree on receipt of the product.  Had to return product to get smaller size.  Thought I was getting size 42-44 and got 45-46 instead for my V-neck T-shirts.

Return for exchange

Sadly, over the last few years, I have noticed a tendency that the seams in the underwear tend to come apart. First they appear as small holes along the length of the seams and then those small holes become larger and larger until the entire length of the seam comes apart. This usually happens within one year or no more than two years from the date of purchase. Years ago, however, Jockey shorts tended to last a lot longer. I'm not sure what has deteriorated: either the material itself or the craftsmanship that goes into sewing the parts / sections of each underwear garment?

Useful Lifetimes

My husband has been wearing the midway briefs for many years.  These are longer than what he usually wears but better than the boxer briefs which he dislikes.

They are ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found an unused pair from about 4-5 years ago that are a lot heavier cotton compared to the ones I just received with the same formula/content %. The new ones are wearing out quicker.

Not as good as they used to be.

It's been a bit since I've bought these. I like the length, but apparently I forgot that they don't hold the kids...terrible in fact!
You know that crab walk you've got to do to peel one off your inner thigh? Gross! Or hope to God that the peeps working the cameras in the stores aren't watching while I have to adjust! These underwear cause me to be, or look like, an uncivilized animal just trying to make it to the grocery store.

They don't hold your junk.

Let me start off by saying that I have been a long time Jockey Pouch Midway brief wearer.  I have not worn another type of underwear in 20 years. So to say I know my Jockeys is an understatement. 

I order multi packs every couple of years. This time I ordered 18 pairs. Normally, this would last me a good while. I ordered 3 packages of the 6 Pack Pouch Midway brief. 

The garments arrived quickly. I was happy about that. I opened the packages, washed my new items and replaced my older pairs. They started off feeling great. 

Well, after a few washings, what others have said is true. The waistband starts to curl and crimp up. Never have I had this problem with hundreds of pairs of these Jockeys. Every single pair has this problem. 

Jockey, are you listening? For some reason, you changed your manufacturing process. I don't know if it's the process or the materials, but these are not the same as the good old Jockey Pouch Midway brief. If you are listening, can I return these for some of the good pairs?

These suck. Maybe it's time to try and find another brand to wear. Such a shame.

Horrible. No Longer Top Quality

My husband has worn these for many years.  Several years ago the quality began to change.  I saw multiple comments on the site about the same problem we were having.  The back seam does not stay stitched.  I hoped that by now this problem was corrected.  It has not been solved!  After 2 washings the top layer of material has come loose on a pair.  Yes I know how to darn the seam back together and will darn all before they come apart.  I will continue to purchase these briefs as he loves them.  Wish the company would fix the problem.  Would be happy to sent you a photo of the problem.

Still disappointed but will continue to purchase.
