[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the 5th or 6th pair I've had. Absolutely love them. At least for me I've ne er had in break-in period at all. Every new pair feels like a 2-3 year pair. This time I orders the soft tie and also ordered a pair of the Pittsburgh carbon toe. I haven't tried them yet.

Pittsburgh Soft Toe

KEEN

The Pittsburgh Soft Toe boot. What more can I say. For me this boot is the best overall boot Keen has made. I've been wearing this boot since I discovered it back in 2013. Yes, this boot is amazing and I use it for work a d I'm onto my 6th pair. Now, what I use it for. Easy, I use it for work. I am an outdoor line construction worker. I am on my feet about 10 to 12 hours, 6 days a week. 6/12s and boy do my feet feel good in these boots, even after a long day. These boots last me on average 6 to 9 months, but that's all the hours I work. My kids now buy me these boots every year when they think it's time to toss out the current ones. These boots won't let you down. I personally like that these boots are wide. My feet love them.

Pittsburgh Soft Toe (The Real Deal)

I'm the kind of person to look at something for weeks (or even months) before buying a product, especially if they're a pair of boots. These boots have been on my radar for quite a while now and I finally bought a pair. So far they're working quite well although I did have to change the insole for one that works with my high arches.

I have had 5 lower back operations and 6 knee operations so boot performance is paramount to me. My knees and back will let me know very quickly if a shoe or boot isn't giving me full support. I am also 6'5" tall and 300 pounds so my knees and back are already under a lot of stress. I found Keen some years ago and I noticed an immediate difference in them compared to my other shoes and boots. Needless to say I was sold for life. Buy these boots if you have a need for great support, high arches and want to own a high quality boot that lasts

Fantastic Boots

These are the best boots I've ever had. I had to order a half size bigger than normal so they must fit a little smaller than other keens. I was able top determine this at a local store. I was apprehensive ordering online, it was my first time doing so. I was worried they wouldn't fit right or one might feel weird since I couldn't try them on. Then I would have the hassle of returning. My fears were abolished as soon as I put them on. Great pair, speedy delivery!

Um... boots

My third pair of of the Pittsburg energy. Great work boot to be on your feet all day. Had them for a couple of years. Lots of support. Unfortunately this pair had waterproofing issues right away and the soles started to come apart from the boot soon after.
Did not put them through harsh conditions just working around house. Hopefully they have fixed these issues.

Love the boot , but

I have always loved Keen. But my last 3 pairs have come unglued from the sole. Most have very little wear but they are more than a year old so I can't make a warranty claim. I no longer recommend Keen.

No Longer Quality Boots

The Pittsburgh 6" soft toe boots are really nice but its difficult to get a decent pair out of the box due to poor quality control. The first pair has a defect in the lining of the boot, and the second replacement arrived in a box marked 12D with boots that are 13D. Keen clearly deserves a prize for terrible quality control.

Horrible Quality control

Just went hunting in these, this morning. I only walked through some tall grass. Nothing taller than my knee I also had gaters on. Got home and my feet are soaking wet. It was 31 degrees out side and now rain. I don't know if I got a bad pair but I'm not impressed.

Over the past 8 years I've had 2 pair of Keen Pittsburgh's, both were very easy to break in and very comfortable. The soles on the 1st pair started coming off after about 2-3 months of just around the place hiking, working, hunting etc. Thinking I'd just got a bad pair about a year or so later got another pair. Well. . . found out it wasn't just bad luck the 1st time, the soles on the 2nd pair started coming off quicker than the 1st pair with less activity. Like I said earlier that was arnd 7 or 8 years ago and hadn't planned on ever purchasing another pair of Keens of any style. But. . . awhile back I say a pair of Keen Pittsburgh's in the store and remembered how comfortable they were an figured they've surely fixed the soles issue by now so I bought them. Wore them 5 or 6 times going to town for several weeks and arnd 6 weeks after purchasing wore them walking back in the timber and 1 sole came about 3/4 off an the other one was starting to come off slightly. Walked back to the house after having them 6 weeks and about 6 times wearing them and in the burn barrel they went. In the midst of all this I've had a pair of Merrill's for about 3 years a client gave me as a gift that have had literally 10 times the abuse that all 3 pairs of Keens put together could even come close to taking. I will never own Keens again, they are WORTHLESS!!
