All-day Comfort

Initially these boots were VERY difficult to get my foot into. As previously mentioned in reviews - you might want to upsize a half size or even a full size - I didn't upsize and wrestled the things onto my feet because I'm stubborn and hard headed. This required a lot of pulling, pushing, wiggling and stubborn determination to accomplish. After which you will begin to wonder if you will be able to get the things off...
After a couple of days of wearing them, they are much easier to get into and out of, fit snugly and are everything I was hoping for. Keen is my favorite boot - and these boots are on par with my other boots. Buyer be ware. Consider the upsizing, but don't go too far because they might not fit tight enough...

Keen for the win -AGAIN

I really like the boots, I bought them months ago and haven't had any wear or tear and I am a carpenter foremen at a construction company. Make sure you get the correct size I usually wear 11.5 and I had to get 10.5 to have them fit correctly. I wear them in the mud and snow usually 100% waterproof and great boots for keeping your feet warm. Only complaint is mine look different like the leather is from two different cows but besides the look they function great!

Get a size smaller

My last 4 work boots have all been Keens. The laces are always way too long, drag on the floor. Get wet, come undone. But I can't deny the comfort of a Keen boot. 

I've put 8 to 12 hour days into these and they are holding up well after 2 weeks. Took some breaking in time but my feet are comfortable and ready to work the next day. Normally wear a wide with Keen but these are roomier than I was expecting, if I had to order it again I'd go non-wide.

I got this model a few months ago as a replacement for another keen shoe thinking they would be more durable, keen warrantied the last pair and that was great, these boots are not waterproof. Comfortable a little heavy kind of good looking even but in my case I have a wet right foot and a semi dry left foot. Seem like a well made boot but something has gone wrong in the waterproofing department. I am disappointed to say the least.

Comfortable but

I wore these at work for about 3 hours before I couldn't handle the blisters any more. I've owned several other Keen boots, but this was my first skip on style of boot. I don't recommend if you do any walking. The blisters on my heels were pretty bad.

Blisters Abound

Been wearing Keen utility boots loyally for at least 7 years.Tried these for a change. Big nope. Couldn't even pull them on. Just got them and had to return. Now, I'll give you some comparison info to help you out. I'm a woman with high arches, regular width feet and I work hard. To every pair of keen boots I have to put an insole to “take up space” (remember I have women feet) otherwise I feel floppy in them. So I was surprised how “narrow” these felt. Good luck.

No good if you have high arches or instep

I was pretty excited to see these offered in Keen's lineup as I've been looking for a good slip-on work boot to protect my feet. I have small feet so I didn't think it would be a problem to get the boot on and off - for me, it wasn't. I could see how it might be difficult if you have a high arch.

The boot is kind of big and clunky - like wearing a Frankenstein boot. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but be aware of it if you are looking for something a little more discrete.

Unfortunately, the boot just ran too big/wide in the heel and it slipped too much to stay on my foot properly. Otherwise I would have really liked them. If you have a wide foot, or at least a wide heel they would probably fit really well.

Really wanted to like this boot

The sole started to fail on the boot after 2 weeks! 6 out of 14 lugs were loose or had fallen off. I've had 5 different pairs of Keen work boots I love they way they fit but the last 3 pairs have all had failures of some type in under a year. Again I love how they fit but boots in this price range should not fail that fast. The last pair I bought was Keens last chance with me and they barley made 2 weeks. So I won't be buying anymore. Hopefully they can get it together and build some durability into their boots.

JUNK! Very disappointed.

The boot was a little tight for me; this with size 9.5EE. This is the size I wear in most every shoe. But, more importantly the Keen website “Size Selector” said I need that particular size. Anyway, was not able to get my foot past the hole in the bottom area of the boot. Forced it on anyway to see if it was a proper fit length wise… turned out or was too small. My toes were a bit cramped. 

Even worse… I couldn't get the boot off. After wrestling with the boot of took me almost 10 get it off. Very painful task. Had to accomplish it with messing up the boots; has to send them back.

Weird Fit…

First pair I got was size 10.5 after one week of work in a automotive shop both rubber toe caps had almost completely fell off. Returned and got another pair and it's been 2 weeks and the toe caps are falling off these too. I rarely am kneeling at work so there is no reason for these boots to be failing in the toe cap. Will return and switch to another slip on brand
