I use this for my Sushi Bake and its awesomely delicious!! This would go with any Japanese dish! Yummy!

Not your ordinary Mayo!

This is Japanese Mayo and has a very distinct eggy flavour that takes some getting used to for many people. Many brands of mayo have a tangy kind of background and this has none of that. It is just smooth with a pleasant egg flavour and it really pluses potato/egg/seafood salads.

Wonderfully eggy

Bought this specifically to make a Kani Salad and it did NOT disappoint.  Get 1 pack of the leg style imitation crab and pull it apart like string cheese.  Laying it flat on a cutting board %26 using a fork works well.  Then peel a cucumber and chop into long thin sticks or take a vegetable peeler and just make ribbons.  Combine the cucumber %26 crab in a bowl.  Add this mayo   sriracha sauce (I use the chickfila one).  Make it as saucey as you like but don't add too much at first.  You can always add more but you can't take it out.  Then add just a little rice vinegar.  I also like to add shredded lettuce to mine but that's not the usual way.  If you make a batch ahead of time do not add the lettuce until you're ready to serve.  It will get slimy.  Mix it all together.  Chef's kiss!!!!!!

Make delicious Kani Salad

I love Japanese mayo for my egg salad. I like keeping one in the fridge one in the pantry as backup. This price is really good. It is a sweeter creamier consistence. A little acidic maybe, if that makes sense. Doesn't replace my dukes but it has its own uses

The best

Someone mentioned that this Kewpie mayonnaise was better than regular mayonnaise so I had to give it a try. It is amazing! It tastes similar to the yolk mixture of a deviled egg but without the egg. Its delicious on everything you would normally add mayonnaise too, as well as using it on its own. I don't know if we will ever go back to regular mayonnaise.

The best mayonnaise every created. It compliments food very very well.  It is not sour or sweet or bland. It is flavorful and take condiment experience to next level. The food and veggies taste better with this. I won't go a week without this. So happy I can purchase this at my local Walmart.

This is the GENUINE made in Japan, KEWPIE.
It's the best.
The made in USA Kewpie is, sadly, not as tasty. I don't know why they cannot / are not making it the same way here, as they do in Japan, but the USA version is different. It's not terrible, but not as good.

One of my favorites to use when trying to achieve authetic flavors for spicy mayo and certain recipes

When I first skimmed the internet for reviews, I was almost hesitant to try it fearing it would taste as disgusting as people made it sound. But I took one taste and I found that I liked it very much, better than regular American Mayo options. It's very egg forward in taste due to them only using the yolks. It tastes really good in fried rice as I figured out today since I made some. I also tried it in some yakisoba because I saw a character in a Japanese show put it in his lol. If you're not into strong eggy, fishy, umami flavors then this mayo won't be for you. Ps: the bottle becomes more flat as it empties so just be careful and unscrew the cap if you want to use the cute star tip.

Very underrated, does NOT taste like miracle whip

I ordered two online to pick up in store. When I opened the package, I found that it had three layers, a clear water on the top, brown liquid in  the middle, clouded white on the bottom.  obviously it is off.

I had to return them.
