My first hard use of the CNX sandals was a 7 day cruise of Rhode Island. On board off board, walking around docks, dirt paths, streets, brick sidewalks and cobblestone roads and I never felt an unsure step. Comfortable, adjustable fit, easy off and on so the only down side for Keen could be that since I only them in three seasons I may not be buying another pair for 10-12 years!

I would buy these again but I don't think they'll wear out!

KEEN

Great trekking footwear. Went straight from wearing in the mountains to working a last minute protest this weekend. The Clearwater stays on the foot and doesn't slide around. After the first 4 hours of wearing it conforms to your feet and gets adjusted.

I first learned about KEENS while on vacation in the Galapagos. All of the naturalist guides wear them. Unfortunately I was wearing another brand. Since that trip I have purchased at least six pairs of KEENS and I cannot say enough good things about them

Galapagos Guides Taught Me

I've bought two new pairs of these sandals over the last month and like usual they fit perfectly, arrived promptly and look good. I love Keen, although I've returned a coupe of boots as they were too narrow, the wider fit footwear has always been perfect from day one.

Like Usual a Great Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third pair of these sandals in 6-7 years. The pair I just replaced were US size 12, and although the first 6-8 months of wearing them in the tropics caused 3rd toe on left foot to bleed, that toe eventually wore a patch out of the cloth lining and they've been perfect. 
When I bought the present pair I choose US size 13. Frankly, because the whole shoe is larger, I don't feel as well supported. I do pull on the elastic laces two-, and one-crossing down from the top, and finally cinch up the laces with the cord lock. Even then the 13 shoes don't feel like I'm wearing "gloves on my feet" the way the 12s did. 
I'm sure I'd be satisfied with 12 1/2.

I wish there were half sizes above 12

lighter than my old pair

Great fit and feel. This is my first pair of such sandals and I've been wearing them ahead of a couple of trips in which I plan to put them through the test with hikes to and from waterfalls, etc. So far they are comfortable enough and I don't expect any issues once we are out and about. The only drawback I will note is that I wish there was more arch support. These feel exceptionally flatter than what I am used to. Even my common flip flops feel like they have much more arch support.

This is the second pair after wearing out the first one .. overall, is a wonderful design .. here are a few suggestions for the future development .. 

- if the amount of covering is reduced and the material of the covering be more breathable. This would make it better for warmer climates.
- if there was a way to introduce some kind of padding in the sole, for use in the city all day wear. If there was a softer footbed, it would be more comfortable for all day wear. 
- and lastly, if the strap at the back is somehow made a little more convenient to put on and off multiple times a day .. that would be really superb .. currently its a bit 'tight' and not as pliable ...

second time around

Uncomfortable. Much smaller and narrower than my previous Keen sandals. Not much cushioning in the footbed. Feet fatigue from standing for short periods. The narrowness and lack of support are dealbreakers for me. Drys fast and light weight. That's about all the good I have to say about them.

Too narrow and unsupportive

and it didn't fit a ordered 2 sizes up and it still don't fit as the back strap seems to been pulled in. We LOVE a keen but these multiple misses on sizing has been v disappointing
