All-day Comfort

Leather Quality

Look

Quality

Haven't been happier with a work boot - had my pair for two years now. Very durable, comfortable, fairly light and looks good enough to wear in office and or field. Would recommend in a heart beat and I'll be buying my second pair shortly.

Wish there was a winter version!!

Boot review

KEEN

I can't say enough about this boot. They are my everyday boot - from walking the dogs to carpentry and renovations. They are super comfortable, lightweight and safe. To be fair it took a week to initially get used to them as they were stiff out of the box so my heel kept coming up as I walked but that quickly went away. Also I had to go a half size smaller than my normal Keen boots. I will get this boot again.

Everything Boot

Pros: Attractive Durable material Decent amount of flex for a puncture resistant rated boot Cons: Hard insole with very little cushioning No built-in arch support I highly recommend getting these at least ½ size larger and adding in high quality insoles.

Great, but not perfect.

Looks are fantastic and leather seems durable. Good to wipe down once a while to keep looking sharp.

I half sized down for a snugger fit around the foot and ankle. Easy to slip on and it's my go-to work boot for around the office and shop.

4/5 review because it's not the best boot for extended walking or in the field, despite having probably the best sole/lugs for grip and hiking compared to the other "hiker" style work boots.

Would buy again as a second boot for foreman type work around the shop.

Pretty Great

So far I am enjoying this boots. I normally wear a keen size 10, but based on a couple other reviews, I dropped down a half size for a better fit. It was the right choice. Been wearing them for about a week now and they broke in very quickly. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because of the lack of the signature
Keen rubber toe protector. I can't stress enough Keen, add the rubber toe protection and these would be a straight competitor for the Blundstone safety slip-on boots. Leather on toe is already showing wear after a week, I'm going to purchase a glue on toe protector, but it would be nice Keen if you add your toe protector, or have a 2nd model of these with a toe protector. No doubt they would be a great seller.
Only reason I bought them knowing they didn't have the toe protector was because of the price I got them on sale..

Very comfy, lightweight, durability lacking.

Unfortunately I had the footed detach itself from the boot within the first two and a half months. Random defect I am sure.

Keen being Keen I was able to have the boots replaced (I went with the Chicago).

The Romeo is light easy to wear and comfortable.

Comfy, light and easy

Hello, although these boots look great out of the box, I was very disappointed with the fit. After exchanging for a better fit despite using the sizing chart and measuring my feet, the boots have horrible pinch points. The leather on the upper is tearing and collecting knicks after a couple weeks light use. Most disappointing is to see the upper separating from the sole as these are not actually stitched to the sole and the glue is failing. My first Keen boot may be my last.

Uncomfortable and poor quality

Nate Hastings

probably ok for walking around for 10 minutes, but they get uncomfortable really fast. They give blisters, and move around on your feet a lot therefore said blisters never really get to heal. All my co-workers are blister free while i am suffering with these overpriced boots, garbage.

uncomfortable for work

I like the boot, comfortable, fit well, no break in but stitching in mid section is starting to come apart after 4 months of light use. I use them for light work around home and daily back and forth to work but do not use them at work. I am use to getting a couple of years out of steel toe work boots in an industrial application which I would of thought these boots would be designed for.

Stiching coming apart

1-this shoe did not fit and I returned it; it was inappropriate for keen to send me this review solicitation; FURTHER
2-I posted an request for help on their website last week, where I was trying to buy another style of boot and their shopping cart kept adding shoes...not allowing me to get only 1 pair; i was unable to purchase the item before the sale ended and Keen has NEVER responded to my inquiry for help.
