I suffer with food intolerance and have done since I was 30 im now 68. Due to being so heavily restricted with what I can eat chronic constipation has been part of my life for decades. A few years ago to my delight I found I could enjoy Kellogg's All Bran with no side effects and it kept me regular with no effort However after one bowl of this new disgusting stuff that's bares no resemblance to the one I loved my stomach is on fire with gastric acid. It's made me so incredibly ill that I can't function properly. That was 3 days ago and it's still as bad. After that one fateful bowl of the new bran recipe I vowed never to have any more and I haven't but I never dreamed it would affect my health this badly. If I could sue Kelloggs for all the pain and distress eating awful replacement has caused me then I would !

New Recipe is awful. Adding less bran and more flour? It's now slimy, not grainy. Tastes false and plastic. Been eating this since a child. Please bring back the great original recipe!!!!!

New Recipe is Terrible

I bought a box last week without noticing the "new recipe "  it wasn't till I poured a bowl yesterday that I realised,  horrible shiny little sticks that don't even look like they contain bran , disgusting ! Doesn't look, feel or taste the same, I've been eating all bran for years but never again!! Unless I find original recipe somewhere I've bought my last box!!
Why try and fix something that's not broken?? I'm very disappointed with kellogs, i will be buying oatbran instead from now on! I'll be returning this lot  for a refund

Vile stuff!!

I have just bough the new product and really do not like it at all it has lost its original flavour and texture it is just crunchy and not really unpleasant.  Will have to search for another make sorry.

Very sad

I've been eating All Bran for years - what have you done to it Kellogs?!!!
Picked up a box yesterday without noticing the "new recipe" note on the box. 
Opened it this morning and right away noticed it looked different a kind of weird greyish brown colour. But went ahead with it anyway adding my fruit and milk and waiting for the milk to be absorbed to the perfect consistency like I always do. 30mins later the grey sticks were still floating!!  
Still willing to give it the benefit of the doubt - I eventually tucked in. 2 spoons and it went in the bin. Absolutely disgusting - tasteless, weird textured dry twigs. The whole box is now in the bin, after checking and seeing the big blue star - stating New Recipe!!! 
The 1 star is for the quality of the packaging and NOT the contents.

Bring back the Original Recipe !

The All Bran that I have consumed for several decades was re formulated into something awful. The consumer backlash means it's now been taken off the sehelves.

The demise of All Bran

Change it back to the original. The one from the '60s. This new formula is crap. Turns into some sickly mushy turds in milk. No crunch no flavor. I had one bowl, dumped half of it down the drain, threw the almost full box in the garbage. Do not buy until it changes back to the true 'original '

Don't use milk if you expect crunch.

Bought on Monday without know of any changes to the product but could immediately tell the difference. It's simply awful now. I'll stop buying until it's bank to the old version

Awful new version - 0/5 from me

The title "Original" is a lie.  Kelloggs have destroyed Allbran.  It tastes all pasty now. I am 62 and have eaten Allbran since I was 16 but this morning I opened a new box and it has totally changed and tastes like a cheap, low quality alternative.  I shall now simply buy bran from a health food shop.  I am sure that there are many old Allbran consumers who will feel the same.

Disaster

I agree the cereal has been ruined.  It's tastes and feels synthetic and definitely not healthy. With the old version I loved the fact you could choose whether to eat quickly after adding milk to catch it crunchy, or leave it to go mushy - my preference. Can't do that any more.

I too have been eating All Bran for decades, but will not continue. So disappointed.

Ruined

I like this cereal the most because of the taste of course and also because it is so high in fiber.  I also like the fact that the amount of sodium for me is very acceptable.  There are so many cereals I can't have due to the sodium content.  The All Bran Buds are an example of too high of a sodium content so, I stick with All Bran Original.  The problem now is that they aren't making the Original anymore and you can't find it anywhere.  Production has been stopped and they tell me they don't know when production will start again.  Very sad and seems to me this shouldn't be that hard to solve.
