A small amount goes a long way on a wet face, and it's nice and slick. The shaving cream gets 5 stars but the pump bottle gets 4 stars because the shaving cream dries in the pump outlet if you aren't shaving every day, and that results in a dry plug or a sideways squirt.

I would also not recommend (for ladies) to use as shave lotion for anything other than legs and under arms. This is my favorite brand but I think I like the lavender Shea version better.
