The is the exact same model as I had for a number of yaers only in black which was starting to corrode.  It cost a lot more now.  Love the green.  Read instruction and found I was not caring for the old one by cleaning filter, which I did not no I had) or occasional vinegar clean out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my mom as a gift for Mother's Day. So far it's working great. It boils water very fast and looks cute on the kitchen counter (I got the red one). It's easy to operate with a simple push of the button. My mom likes it a lot. My only complaint is the electrical cord is too short. A few inches longer would be perfect. If you look for a simple electric kettle without all the unnecessary extra features, that's the one to go to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tea kettle, the look  fits well into my primitive colonial kitchen, it heats up fast, and it's a sturdy kennel. My only complaint about this appliance is that I wish it were larger. Since we use this every day for tea, cocoa, and our use it while canning, it would be nice if I didn't have to fill it so many times a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kettle makers still persist in using plastic parts internally making for a plastic taste in and potentially harmful tea drinking. When trying to purchase online, I specifically  called and asked if there was plastic inside and was assured that since not part of description, there was none.  Wrong.  Still on the hunt.

Could be Fabulous with one tweak

It's a little small to me, only 1.2L. Inside there's a fixed plastic filter holder that you cannot remove, in addition to the plastic filter.
