Best little teapot ever

Kitchen Aid

Breath of fresh air after all these cheap kettles with bunch of buttons and useless functions. This just does one thing - boils water. It feels very solid, high quality and very nice in hand when pouring.
A couple of zanks:
1. I wish it was a bit larger, like by a cup.
2. The lid is tight and kind of takes an effort to pull out - my kids struggle, especially when it's hot.

Overall exactly what I wanted - simple, solid, stainless and fast boiling. Def recommend.

Back to solid basics

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This kettle definitely met my expectations. It's the perfect size and I love the color!

The perfect kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle works great. It is easy to fill and easy to clean. The water heats fast. The size is smaller than I expected, so less water in the pot. The overall performance is great. I got the Tiffany blue and it is a perfect pop of color in my kitchen.

Love

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The kettle is so well made, look great and boils fast. It's the first of many kettles I have owned that I finally trust not to leak or simply fail. It pours quickly and safely and is a pleasure to pick up and use.

Fantastic Kettle

kitchenaid.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tea kettle, the look fits well into my primitive colonial kitchen, it heats up fast, and it's a sturdy kennel. My only complaint about this appliance is that I wish it were larger. Since we use this every day for tea, cocoa, and our use it while canning, it would be nice if I didn't have to fill it so many times a day.

Used every day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kettle makers still persist in using plastic parts internally making for a plastic taste in and potentially harmful tea drinking. When trying to purchase online, I specifically called and asked if there was plastic inside and was assured that since not part of description, there was none. Wrong. Still on the hunt.

Could be Fabulous with one tweak

Very attractive tea kettle. However, it cannot be filled from the fridge as I was told. Also, the filter inside is all plastic - the filter itself is removable but the plastic housing is not.

Stopped working after just 2 months. If it worked for a few years it would be a 5 star. It died in a one person household and had no abuse.

Specifications: "Stainless steel body." Not possible. Kettle shows rust. Not just me. Have enjoyed KITCHENAID stand mixers, hand mixers, food processors, and blenders for many years. When manufacter skimps on small stuff and tries to hide it, such as the body of this kettle, I will express my dissatisfaction here and vow to never buy another thing made by KITCHENAID.

DECEPTIVE SPECS

KitchenAid® 1.25 L Electric Kettle front-facing view of stainless steel body with smooth aluminum handle on power base with cord storage. Removable lid for easy filling, LED on/off switch with indicator light, pouring spout with removable limescale filter. Often used for heating single-serve water in small kitchens or office desks.
