I bought this for making jams and I wanted my fruit puréed. It does and it's so easy to move around no cords and it holds it's charge for months when to in use. Easy to clean and store.

After my large Kitchen  aid processor  died that had given  our 6 adult family great  pleasure I was  reluctant to buy the small one. But  it's so darn handy to move around and I ve used it nearly everyday. I'm still waiting for the day that I'll miss my large one. But now for two pensioners this us great.

I saw this chopper advertised online one day and had to investigate after watching the video, I purchased 3 of them, two for gifts and one for myself. I LOVE IT. I do a lot of canning and creating and to have the cordless option and being able to move it where I am not to where an outlet is has been a life saver. I highly recommend anyone that loves being in the kitchen to purchase on of these cordless choppers. You wont be disappointed. Has a good life span between charges and has plenty of power to chop most anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this “Little Marvel” about a month ago.  I am so impressed with the cordless feature!  It affords less bulk on my kitchen countertop.  I can make quick work out of important jobs like chopping small amounts of nuts, or dried fruit.  I have yet to try the whisking blade, can't wait to make whipped cream!  Once again, Kitchenaid has proved to be an invaluable “Partner” for those of us who do our best work in the kitchen.

Great Little Workhorse!

I make smoothies all the time, but it's such a chore to take out my regular sized blender every day to plug it in and clean it. This is so compact and perfect for the job. I'm sure it'll come in handy once I start baking with it, but I'm already perfectly satisfied

Great Chopper

I used it recently for grinding up oats to make “flour” and it worked flawlessly. I am so happy with this. It also works well for nuts to make milk with!! Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love KitchenAid products and the 5 cup cordless chopper did not disappoint. First, the chopper is quality made, yes it is made if plastic but it is strong and sturdy. It is so easy to use, put your basil, pine nuts, cheese, garlic, olive pil and salt and pepper, pulsate a couple of times and you have pesto. Also works great for homemade fresh salsa.  You can whip up some cream, grate cheese, homemade peanut butter, humus, the list goes on. I can't believe I have lived this long without it.  And easy clean up, top rack of of dishwasher. KitchenAid has such dependable products. Love love love this chopper.

A MUST HAVE

I chop peppers, nuts and so much more and makes quick work.  It charges and is ready to lift from cabinet to use immediately.  cant say enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 5 Cup Cordless Food chopper is pretty nice. It's a convenient size, not too big or too small for the kitchen counter and it can be stored in my cabinets standing straight up. It has a charger and a small light will turn green when it is ready to use. When the battery is low the color will change yellow. I have it in black which matches my other appliances. When I first received this food chopper I immediately opened the box anxious to try it out. I couldn't figure out how to remove the lid so I definitely needed to read the directions. Twisting the lid to the left opened the top. I will say it was a little tricky putting the attachments in the correct way for it to chop. You will know if it's in wrong because it won't chop anything it will just be making noise. I fumbled with it a few times until I put the blade in correctly. If you are trying to dice something I suggest using the first setting number 1 which is low power and press and release the top of the handle several times until the item is chopped to your liking. I diced strawberries then I used the second setting number 2 which is high power and pressed and held that to make a purée mixture. The parts are easy to clean. Overall I like the chopper.  I feel like it is a good addition to my kitchen and will save time especially once I learn to correctly assemble it on the first attempt. If you hate cutting onions by hand this KitchenAid 5 cup Cordless Chopper would be great for you.

Saves time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so disappointed in the cordless food chopper. Wanted to update my old Cuisinart one but will go back to that one. The Kitchenaid one is so difficult to work. Watched the video, read the instructions and yet everytime I try to use it it doesn't work. Have to remove all the food , take it apart and try and try and try to get it started. Not sure what the issue is but it shouldn't be this difficult!
