It does a great job. With little or no clean up and because I have movement issues this is great.  I highly recommend this hand mixer to anyone wanting something that is lite and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very dependable mixer. I have a Kitchenaid 5 speed hand mixer for 7 years and it still works just like new! The variation of speeds is great for baking different things. I typically mix my cake batter on 1 or 2, and I typically cream butter and sugar on 2 or 3. The higher speeds are especially great for whipped cream or meringue. The Turbo Beater mixing attachments are easy to clean and aren't too wide, so you don't have to worry about too much sticking to them. This is also a great value, for the price it is a great investment because it lasts a long time and works exactly as it should! It isn't too loud when it's mixing. It is also lightweight, which is great for me because I wouldn't be able to use a mixer that's too heavy because my hands get sore! I also like that you can lock the cord out of the way, and you don't have to worry about putting it away because the cord doesn't get bent! I would recommend this product!

Reliable Hand Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a powerful little hand mixer. It has five speeds so you can get the perfect texture you are after. It whipped up my icing fluffier uthan any hand mixer has. It's not very loud at all compared to my old mixer. It's very lightweight. The attachments are very easy to put in or eject out. The thinner beaters makes mixing seem to go so much faster. Very easy to clean plus the red color is so beautiful in my kitchen. Just a great hand mixer all around!

Works like a dream!

This is a very handy mixer which is a "must" piece of equipment for any kitchen.  It comes with two beaters which are easy to attach and it has five different speeds.  Only weighing approximately two pounds, it is easy for me to pick up and operate.  It even comes with the option of having the cord be flexible or movable, or you can use the switch provided on the base of the mixer to click the cord into place.  The Empire Red color is very striking and blends in well with my other appliances.  It is possible to mix all kinds of things including cookie dough and cake ingredients, and I am never disappointed with the end result.  To clean, I simply press a button to eject the beaters which can then be washed in warm, soapy water.  The rest of the mixer can be wiped over with a damp cloth.  I anticipate it lasting for years and it is now an essential piece of kitchen equipment in my household.

Versatile and Extremely Efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at the quality since it was KitchenAid. I would have ordered a 9 speed if I would have realized it doesn't go very fast. That's not Walmart's fault though. I'm a little worried about how long it will last. I'm sure it was too high because of tariffs. If I had to do over again, I would buy the next model up.

I do love the kitchen aid, however i'm not sure how it holds up against todays kitchen appliances but when my vintage sunbeam hand mixer died after 37 years of use, i bought this. 

The speed leaves much to be desired compared to that, but it absolutely gets the job done! The first one i purchased (through amazon)  had a problem where it emitted a high pitched squealing noise. If it sounds like that- return it. I purchased through Walmart and while its still noisier than what im used to - its as its supposed to be. Very happy about that.

For 60$ i feel i am paying more for the color and brand name than i am getting the value of appliance. However i love how lightweight it is!!! Definitely a bonus. Very easy for my kids to use as well. I do like how the cord can adjust positions from locked to swivel. 

As for quality- only time will tell, ill come back in 40 years and let you know.

Very nice, light weight.

I bought this to replace a Hamilton Beach mixer that I had for at least 15 years.  I don't use it very often. I replaced it again with a Hamilton beach.  The only thing I like about it is the color (Red) my HB mixer is more powerful on low then the KA I thought kitchen Aid was a high end product, It's not it's a high priced piece of junk

Talk about disappointment!  I was willing to pay the extra price to get a quality hand mixer.  The beaters were very thin and flimsy, and the highest speed could not blend peanut butter and softened cream cheese.  I had to mix my peanut butter pie filling by hand!  I washed it really well,  returned it,  and got a Beautiful  hand mixer, which was much cheaper and works like a mixer should.

Ive had this kitchen aid hand mixer for around 2 years. And while baking the blaids of the mixer decided to brake and twist all together.
