It prepares the  milk for my excellent lattes and steams the milk to the perfect temperature and superior flavor via the automatic temperature control. This is a perfect addition to my espresso machine and offers way more than I expected like programmable foam adjuster for amount and texture. This awesome machine even comes with a cleaning brush. No more coffee shops for me since I can make lattes at home as good if not better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment is a must buy!  It automatically makes the perfect froth for any espresso drink (or even hot cocoa).  The milk reservoir detaches, so you can store any unused milk in the fridge... or you can place the tube directly into a carton of milk, which I find is best since it makes clean up extremely easy. Best of all, it is compact and doesn't take up a lot of counter space.  It only adds a few inches to the espresso maker, and its well worth it!

I've wanted something like this for a while now and it is so easy to use. The milk frother makes the milk so creamy and adds the perfect balance to your coffee.  You can even use it for your hot cocoa! I am far beyond impressed with this machine and highly recommend it!

Great add on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid Automatic Milk Frother Attachment is so simple to use. It locks into the side of the Kichenaid Espresso Machine and works in conjunction with it. In order to release it, just push the release button. It's fairly easy to clean. I use this attacment when I plan on making more than 1 cup of something and also if I'm making hot chocolate or powdered cappuccino's. The hardest part is trying to figure out your perfect setting. The tank can be stored in fridge for next use with leftover milk or creamer. It's the perfect addition to my Esspresso Machine!

Simple To Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the KitchenAid Automatic Milk Frother Attachment to use with my espresso machine, and overall I am impressed. It is easy to attach and use as long as you follow the instructions step by step. It makes for some AMAZING coffee. It is like having my own coffee shop. My only complaint is the little bitty brush that comes with it to clean the hose. It is easy to use, but a bit of a pain to clean. However, the finished product makes it well worth the work. I would still recommend it to others who like fancy coffees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited about this since I always have milk with my espresso but I found this addition to my espresso machine nice but I had higher expectations than received for it. It works great for a shot of milk if you are doing a half and half but not so much for a larger latte. Also, the milk was just not as hot enough temperature for my taste. The function on the espresso machine itself seemed to make my milk at a hotter temperature as well as had more of a froth.

At the moment it just spits out hot milk and a lot of steam. The dials don't seem to do much, unfortunately, so perhaps its a settings issue that I haven't be able to fix yet - I'm not sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure if I am just not understanding how to use this properly, but I cannot get this to produce even somewhat frothy milk. I read all the instructions, and it seems fairly simple and straightforward, but no matter what I try, I just get hot milk. Also, the quantity of milk seems to vary from time to time. I prefer just using the milk steamer on the actual espresso machine.
