If you're new to espresso machines I suggest this one because of the simplicity of using it. It's easy to set up and maintain. The size of the machine is small so it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. For the best results you'll need a burr grinder to make a delicious cup of espresso. I love how fast the espresso maker heats up and makes the coffee. The steamer attachment is a little loud and causes some vibration. The directions are clear and easy to follow. All in all, I highly recommend this product for anyone who loves a great cup of espresso!

This espresso machine is very easy to use and good high-quality. You can make a cup of espresso and it comes with a chart that shows you how to make any drink you want, including a cappuccino or a latte, the combinations are endless. High quality and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a person who loves to drink coffee every day, I cannot live without coffee. I received a surprise and extremely expensive gift from Influence, a Semi-automatic espresso coffee machine
 from Kitchen Aid. I was extremely happy and tried it as soon as I received it. Wow, I have to say that the appearance of this machine is extremely eye-catching and sturdy, luxurious matte black color. The machine runs smoothly, not much noise. The coffee flows evenly, without any stagnation or clogging of fine coffee particles. I added fresh milk to the coffee and whipped it up in the milk frothing function of the machine. Maybe because it was my first time using it, I didn't know how to make the milk foam as smooth as the one I bought at the shop, I will try again. But trust me, it tastes great, no different from any cup of coffee I bought at the shop. Easy to clean the machine accessories. I have only used it but the Kitchen Aid brand is always famous for its high durability and maintenance is always highly appreciated. If you are also a coffee lover and want to save money when buying coffee at the shop, you should invest in this machine.

Excellent machine, really great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid is known for their durable and functional products, and the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine is no exception. This machine is all you need for a quick and easy espresso shot, or a custom coffee drink with the fun of making it yourself! The machine I received is made of a black plastic, however, it is very high-quality & looks quite luxurious. All-in-all, I was able to set this machine up & within 5 minutes have a rich tasting self-made latte that tasted great! This machine is suitable for beginners and provides thorough instructions to help out with any issues that may arise. I also like how the KitchenAid portable is flat on the bottom so you can lay it on the counter when tamping. The machine & accessories are also extremely easy to clean after using which is another benefit that I really enjoy - it only takes 1-2 minutes to clean up everything!

I did test this machine out with pre-ground coffee (Cafe Bustelo) and freshly ground coffee
and using both, the machine was able to pull out a great espresso shot! I did notice that the espresso shot was more rich and had more crema when using freshly ground coffee compared to pre-ground. For anyone else looking to purchase this machine, I would either recommend a separate KitchenAid Burr Coffee Grinder or the higher-tier KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machines with the built in Burr Grinder.

Ultimately, the reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no place to store the extra walls & tamper, so you either have to store separately, or place on top of the machine which then looks a bit clunky. Overall, I highly recommend this KitchenAid machine for anyone looking to enjoy quick and easy homemade espresso shots!

you can't tweak the amount of espresso that is made; the machine makes the shots automatically. And even though I selected the hottest water temp, the espresso is not very hot at all
