I think this camera is honestly better quality photos than the FZ55, the only issue with the camera is that the device itself gets scratched very easily, might have to invest in a camera cover

This camera is a great value for your money. It functions well and produces very nice photographic results.  I think it is the best in its class.
In some unusual lighting situations, it may take a bit more manual adjustments by the photographer to handle undesirable light reflections, but it can be done. And that is a small drawback vs paying over $500 for one of the more expensive cameras and getting pictures of the same quality.

It performs above its price range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous camera, came with everything and works well. Just letting you guys know that if it stops working after a while, it needs new batteries and they need to be ALKALINE — not anything else or it won't work. Also it takes a SDHC sd card, not SDXC.

Kodak 55

Unfortunately for me I ignored the other reviews and should have listened. I've used this camera maybe 10 times. It continuously says ‘battery exhausted' and won't take pictures anymore. I've tried new Kodak batteries and other batteries and none will let my camera work.

If I could give 0 I would..

The first month I bought it it says that the battery is exhausted and it shuts off midway

The product is not working. Could never get it to charge or to hold a charge.

nothing like the first one I got as a gift back in 2002. SO CHEAP!
