This desk was exactly what I needed, most desks I reviewed did not have shelf for mouse which made this my choice with this black desk along with the other shelves and drawer, along with the size I needed.  Assembly was easy and quick.  Great value for the cost.

Finding the right Office Desk

The instructions to put the desk together are pictures only without any description, which made it incredibly hard to put together. Once i figured out which parts were which and how to assemble unlabeled pieces and parts it became easier. Overall it took about 2.5 hours to assemble. Good quality for the price, although it feel like it could tip over so may not be recommended for a child. No anti tip strap included. I like the shelf above the desk and pull out tray for the keyboard, although it's not very stable and comes off the track easily. I gave 5 stars due to looks and price.

Good overall for the price

Assembly directions were not very good. Similar to IKEA with minimal instruction making it difficult to know which way to assemble drawer and keyboard slides but the rest was okay. Nice desk for the price. Quality is also similar to IKEA so it kinda cheap looking, but for only 75$ it was a great deal to use in my son's room. Will probably buy a second one for my other son as well.

My daughter loves her new desk!!  It is really sturdy and cute.  The material is not real wood but its textured to look real.  I love the design of it, all the places to store things, especially the pull out drawer for a laptop!!  
It took my husband about 2 hours to set it up

Cute and organized!

This is a great company.  The desk is really cute.  But my daughter tried to move the desk, and broke a piece of it the day after we put it together.  This company sent me an entire new desk.  I was able to replace the broken part, and now I have other parts I might need in the future.  Just a great company that stands by their products!!

Ktaxon Is Great!!

The only thing that I liked about this desk was the color. The pieces were too difficult to put together and mostly small boards. It's taking me almost 5 days to put it together by myself. I might have someone help me with it, but if not I'm going to return it and buy one somewhere else.

Love the desk, it fits perfectly where I had in mind. It was easy to put together, took maybe an hour and a half. My only complaint is it came with a broken piece. I had emailed the company and asked them to send a new piece. They were very responsive until they were not. They said they would not send a new part but give me a partial refund and I can keep the desk because it would be the same price to send back as to buy a new one. Luckily the part that was broken was not a support piece. I bought it because of the good reviews and the desk itself did not disappoint but the company did.

Instructions are horrible. The metal sliders for the keyboard tray and drawer are labeled as separate parts and they are not. Once you take them apart it is very confusing what goes where and which direction they go. That causes wrong assembly that leads to changing placement and redoing it several times. Even thinking ahead and laying it out didn't always help. The small screws that are the majority used in assembly do not “catch”. They spin. On the first attempt! Holes didn't line up which led to the whole desk not being square which affected the drawer and tray. The wood dowels weren't long enough or the holes too deep. Either way it didn't help hold anything together.

Can't use the drawer or tray because the metal sliders don't work correctly. Worst product ever for assembly.. Instructions didn't make any sense. Everything was poorly labeled. I would take it back to the store for a refund if it wasn't so much trouble to take apart and box back up. I do not recommend this product.

Drawer and tray issues

INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT SUPER EASY, HOWEVER POORLY CONSTRUCTED MATERIALS,  DRAWER IS STIFF WHEN ROLLING ON THE SLIDES .... NOT A STURDY PRODUCT AT ALL, POOR QUALITY, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR AN ADULT OR CHILD AS USE OF DESK IS NOT STURDY FOR LIFE SAFETY ISSUES. PARTICLE BOARD CONSTURCTION TYPE AND CHEMICAL CANCER CAUSING COATING LISTED ON WEBSITE AND NOT IN BOOKLET.  NO MANUFACTURER INFORMATION OR MAKE AND MODEL OF DESK LEAFLET WAS PRESENT IN THE BOX.  SPEND MORE MONEY AND GET A QUALITY PRODUCT.
