Works great! Upstairs AC went out , got this for the master, about 14x16 , and it cooled it enough to sleep. I'm in AZ so it was 100 outside so consider that. Also I have a connected bath I really didn't consider so this unit worked extra hard.  I set it at 67 low speed and it cooled great. My wife sleeps hot and this kept her cool enough to sleep.

AC went out, cooled bedroom

Needed more detail installation instructions, had to figure out how to screw hose to sliding window seal and where the other screw parts go to and the hose connecting to the slide base didn't snap was loose before screwing it in. Other than that, it works fine. I am happy with it.

I like the the lighted display and remote control ease of use. The noise is a little higher than wanted but I prefer some noise to sleep anyway.  It cools our bedroom off great. Weather stripping is needed for a good fit around the window. Door fittings need to be purchased separately if you choose that option.

Great room AC

great product, blows really cold air out. the window adaptor pice is not exactly a perfect fit around the exhaust vent and no hole to run the dehumidifier house out through it either if not using the internal tank. The plastic fins up front do go up and down to change air flow direction, and there is a fin inside to change direction left and right.

great product for price point

The product came very well packed. It appears to be made very well. Despite my being very handy, installation was a challenge. The instruction manual significantly lacks. There are small parts not mentioned anywhere in the manual. The window sealing plate assembly does not fit. Our window is 34 wide., the minimum to get the hose attached is 37. See photo. I have written the company and I am waiting for a reply. Best I could find online was it said would fit a 24 inch window. To get it to fit, I adapted a part from the unit we were replacing. See photo, white piece next to the grey part, is from our old unit.  I have the unit working. Jury is out on the quality, etc. Did purchase a 4 year warranty.

Jury Out - Solid First Impression

The drain for the dehumidifier is the bottom plug, (although in the printed diagram it shows it as the top plug...this is false). Too  low for draining with the hose. We have to set it up on a platform to get it to drain into the shower. There is no other way to drain this, no removable pan or pump. The design is really flawed. It would be great if it were as the diagram shows it but unfortunately later in the manual it instructs you to drain from the lower plug.

Drain outlet is too close to the floor.

The product is actually selling under 7100 BTU (10,000 BTU ASHRAE), but the selection menu shows options labeled as 18,000 BTU. I was foolish enough to believe that 18,000 BTU claim and ended up buying it, thinking it would cool my whole house. Now I have to wait a day before I can even try it, hoping it won't break my heart completely.

If you're expecting an actual 18,000 BTU unit, please don't make the same mistake I did—this is totally misleading. The power selection is inaccurate, and the actual unit is way smaller than you'd expect.

Be Careful: Product Isn't 18,000 BTU

Set it all up and the fan never came on. overheated yet did not shut down automatically. Was hot to the touch. I manually got the fan started but during the night it stopped working again. Was very hot in the morning unplugged and am returning. Don't trust it.

Could be dangerous

It was great all up to the day the outside temp hit 93dgrs, the A/C was draining all of my power in my room it kept cutting off and never cooled my room at all, good for maybe super small rooms my room is 500sq ft and I'm disappointed but I should have knew better.
