I've used this lipstick for many years. Applies smoothly and stays in place as it should. I get compliments on the color. It is a color thst is universal with all activities. This lipstick keeps my lips moist in all weather situations.  Price is fair compared to other brands. I get the coloriche blend. Other blends in this color %23 857, work just as nicely. Creamy texture is my choice.

Loreal 857 coloriche lipstick

For all of my other cosmetics, I buy only "the good stuff" (and by that, I mean the expensive/ over-priced, high-end products).  However, there's not a single lipstick at Sephora, Ulta, or any of the department store (and I've tried many - Chanel, Guerlain, Dior, Gucci, YSL, etc.), that holds a candle to the way this L'Oreal fairest nude looks.  It makes your lips look plumper without actually having a plumping agent in it (there's something about the color).  It is extremely neutral/nude - so it DOES NOT give a strong appearance of color.  It doesn't dry my lips out like other brands do, and you can use it as a base or all alone.  I keep one in my desk at work, one in my car, one in my purse, and one at my vanity, and all 4 of them cost less than one of the "fancier" items that I've tried.  Don't be dissuaded by the way that the color looks in the tube (it looks completely different on your actual lips).  I have tried several of the other L'Oreal colors, and I haven't been as impressed with them as I am with the 800 Fairest Nude.  For reference, I am 45, medium skin tone, combination skin (with a tendency to get dry, chapped lips in the winter).  I have had my mom wear this, and she has a VERY olive complexion with thin lips, dark hair and dark eyes (and it looks good on her, but NOT my favorite for her skin tone).  I have also had my daughter wear it, and she has very fair/porcelain skin, medium lips, and light hair and eyes, and it looks nice on her as well.  I do think the color is probably best suited for light to medium skin tones.  It looks a little more 60s-era on darker skin tones (but still pretty).

Great buy!

Classic true red lipstick with a creamy satin finish. Not too blue toned, not too warm, just right! I have a pale cool neutral skin tone and this is the best red I have tried. Long lasting but does transfer when you first apply. The price is right too!

Perfect red for me

My new favorite!  Love this golden highlighted, creamy lipstick. Not a heavy looking color, just a nice hint of gold highlights without that awful glitter look. Alone, or over another color, it looks great. I just wear it on bare lips. I used to buy very expensive lipsticks this color but this product is just as good and I'm saving lots of $$$$. Thank you L'OREAL!  And please don't discontinue this item.

My lips love it !

This is my very favorite lipstick of all time. I love, live ,love the color. I love the moisturizer in it. I actually give it for gifts and all of my female friends have a tube! it's a color that looks good on all skin tones. I highly recommend it and I'm a big fan of L'Oreal lipsticks!

This viral lipstick is always out of stock but I managed to snag it this time and I'm glad I did! I love the shimmer! It's a nice soft color with shimmer, it's perfect for no makeup sunny look or full makeup. It's a versatile color! I also love the price point, it's affordable!

I bought MAUVED 140 and it is not mauve whatsoever.  The color is LIGHT SHIMMERY PURE PINK.  L'Oreal gets an F for misnaming their colors.  Another bad thing is the awful scent and taste.  I forgot that L'Oreal is nasty like Lancome in that they put disgusting powdery flower scents and flavors in ALL of their products.

It keeps breaking. I've been using this for like 20 or 30 years, it was perfect. But, probably since covid, every tube I buy breaks. I kept buying it because I didn't like anything else I'd tried, but now I've found a Revlon one I like and no longer will be purchasing this
