Foundation that's hold up all day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've received this product complementary in exchange for my honest review. I was so exited to try cushion foundation as I've been interested in this form of foundation for a while. The compact has cushion inside that you can use to apply the foundation. The foundation itself feels a bit dry to powdery even though it's in liquify form. Once applied to skin, it smoothes out but does not give glow, it falls along matte side finish. The shade I received said that it's neutral, but for me it feels a bit more yellowy than what my neutral skin likes. But if you blend enough, it could be used with light layer. Coverage is medium to light. Since this was for testing purposes and received without in person testing, I cannot complain about the shade, but if matched right, I think this foundation is comfortable to wear.

Rare cushion foundation that's not k beauty!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love the concept and packaging of this new L’Oreal cushion foundation. This is great to carry on the go, as it has the mirror, puff & foundation all in one. It is a very light wear & light coverage foundation. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, and it can be applied with the puff or a makeup brush. I didn’t notice a scent with this at all. This is something to carry for light touch up’s or errands, but not if you’re looking for full coverage for events or to cover acne scarring. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this foundation, super excited because it looked super hydrating. I prepped my skin as always , and applied the foundation as I would usually do. I was shocked to see it cracking almost immediately, because it was not a formula that would have to be shaken prior to use.  The compact was nice, the applicator was soft, but it seemed to soak up more foundation than it was letting me apply. I tried to go over the patchy areas, and reapply the foundation, but it only got worse. I left it on until it was time for my evening shower , and I notice a lot of blotches and patches where you could see there was product missing on my face. I don't think it lasts too long before you need to reapply.
