In general, I'm pretty impressed with L'Oreal makeup. I have their visible lift foundation, their powder blush, and two of these lipsticks. The lipsticks are creamy with a semi matte finish.— that is they are not shiny and they just and they do stay on . They do belong pretty intense, so keep that in mind and you may want to top it with a slightly shimmery lipstick because it is a flat look.
I really do like these. I only have two comments on how they could improve one I would like it if there was no fragrance, there is a mild fragrance of vanilla caramel, which is not bothersome to me. Too I wish I had more colors for people that are fair skin with lighter hair. Most of these colors are plums and reds and browns, but I would appreciate some lighter colors. Overall, I would recommend this. Product.

This is a nice matte feeling on my lips.  Other brands have been so dry feeling and cakey looking, Loreal has come out with this matte, but creamy texture,  I need to get a darker shade though, Strawberry is light, almost like a nude pink shade.

This matte lipstick is the greatest, I wish they would continue making this line of lipsticks, I can literally put it on without a lip liner and it doesn't bleed. I can also wear it while eating and drinking with minimal loss of color. brûlée everyday and toffee are the best colors

I read that many consumers found this to be dry and that was definitely not my experience. The crayon served as both lipstick and liner at once without any of the greasiness that comes with glossy products. It is both creamy and long lasting offering a color intensity that is amazing.

The color is beautiful and glide's on nice !  breaks easily though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At it's drug store price point this is an excellent choice of lippie! It was easy to apply, and it had solid coverage and staying power. It held up well throughout the day until I had lunch and I needed to touch up afterwards. I received this for trial to voice my honest opinion.

Very dry.  It helps to put Chapstick on first, but I would not buy it again.  It's a shame because the color is pretty.
