I was hesitant about purchasing L'Oreal Color Gloss, I just didn't think it would work, however I was wrong. It really does brighten my hair. I use it around twice a month for added shine and it does a good job. I have blonde hair and it brightens it right up!

The product is super-conditioning and left my short hair soft and shiny.  Also, I found it to be better than using a purple shampoo which can be drying to hair; plus, there is no mixing with developer😊 It did tone down the yellow/brassy tones leftover from old low-lights.

I had bleached my hair to a yellow stage and wanted to take the brassiness out as my goal was more of a platinum color. This product did not disappoint in the yellow was gone after I applied it. I use the recommended time of 5 to 10 minutes and was satisfied with the result.

The product is so easy to use and it gives the results as described. Highly recommend this for anyone who pulls a lot of red while dying your hair blonde . This is a must have to tame the red. My hair has never looked so good!

I bought this to soften my hair and do lighten my highlighted hair pieces. It left my hair soft and I noticed it tinted my grays a pale purple color, it was pretty cool!

The color change is very minimal, but since my hair is so soft after use, I will keep using.
I have short hair and one bottle of this lasts me about a month.

It took 2 tubes to color my hair, which comes to my elbows.  The before %26 after result photos are misleading.  I have natural blond hair with bleach highlights.  My hair looked like the before image in the second picture, very bleach blond.  After using the product, my hair is now the color in the after image in picture 3.  The color is pretty, and I wouldn't mind if this became my permanent hair color.  My new color blends well with my white or gray hair thought it doesn't hide the white/gray.  It smells faintly like cucumber and cantaloupe.  I saw no change in shine or softness.  I wish the product came with gloves and a cap.  I have very sensitive skin and only noticed mild irritation on my ears and neck.

Color Not What I Expected, But I Like It

This is very smelly stuff, like heavily floral-ish. I’ve used other purple treatments but this is the strongest smelling one I’ve tried. Left my hair kinda pink toned. I’m naturally dark ash blonde and I use hair color to get to medium ash blonde but I used the wrong shampoo and stripped all the ash tones off my hair leaving it pretty yellow. This left my hair pink toned. It’s not terrible and I know it’ll wash out. I was going for pearly blonde, so maybe after a couple washes this will be good. I have high porosity baby fine hair, so maybe that’s why it looks so pinky. It’s purple pink, but def skewing ink. My other toners often leave it too blue toned so this is fun. I’ll keep using it but for much less time. I went 7 minutes this time, so maybe 2 -3 next time. And if you have shorter, fine, high porosity hair you’ll get like 25 uses out of one bottle. I didn’t use a lot the first time and I’ll be using way less next time.
But the smell of it makes me sure I’ll never buy it again. Like as I used it it kept hitting me, then as I waited to rinse it I kept catching strong whiffs of it and each time it kinda surprised me how intense it was. I could taste it in the air.

I know low porosity people say this does nothing for them, so it makes sense it would do something weird on high porosity hair.

this made my hair a beautiful color and i loved it!! but i also think it contributed to some hair loss even after following instructions. wouldn't recommend to anyone

Admittedly, my hair was already damaged and brassy from coloring - with L'Oreal mind you - but this left my hair feeling gross and looking worse. There was no color transfer at all and it made my hair feel almost waxy and look drier and more damaged. No more of this brand for me in the future.
