I've used this for a couple of years now.  It's always quick and simple to do with a great outcome.  I love the color.  One great perk is the tube of weekly conditioner.  It works wonders for keeping your hair healthy and not dry or brittle.

It's easy to use %26 the results are quite pleasing. This particular shade is less reddish-gold %26 more cool-ash, which I prefer.
One thing my hairdresser cleared up: no need to leave it on as long as the instructions say. 15 minutes is fine. Then, spread it to the ends %26 by the time you step into the warm shower, it's ready to be lathered, rinsed %26 conditioned.

Nice color, simple process with good results…

my hair really likes to pull brassy, so this one definitely didn't go silver for me, but did pull me out of the brassy zone a bit. do not feel like it lightened my hair much at all. left it on for about 35 minutes. I had one bluish area, but my son said it was cool! 😆

Wonderful change!

Ultra ash dark blonde doesn't have the reddish colour that makes my hair look coloured. It just looks like my younger blond colour. Finally I can get the colour I want.

Great natural looking dark blond colour

Worth the price

I love the veriation of the colors I get it because my hair is too light so it gives beautiful low lights.

Beautiful natural color

I have bought this dye more than 3 times online, I love the color.  But this time it came well packaged on the outside, however one of the boxes was open and the conditioner was missing.  The store should check carefully before sending a product to a customer.

Missing parts of the product

I've used preference for 20  years. I use the medium brown number five. I naturally have a medium brown hair. I have always been very pleased with this product. However, they have recently changed the formula so beware! The last three boxes I have used have been horrible. It turns my hair an orangey brown and I can't stand orange undertones. In addition, the new formula will only last two weeks so my dye job is gone after two weeks. I'm just going to have to change to a different brand because I just can't be dying my hair every two weeks. It's not healthy. In addition, I'm not getting the color I want anyway. So what's the point? I don't understand why product manufacturers will go and, change a good thing. This is one of the top dyes on the market for over-the-counter and I don't know if they're cutting corners or what but this was a big mistake.  Now I need to research what to replace my favorite dye with ☹️. The photo is two weeks after my dye.  It used to dye it a rich brown.  Now it's just a red mess.

Caution- formula change!!!!

The delivery of my package was made in the evening and delivers in the snow.My hair dye so froze.The deliveryman went to turn around in front of our main entrance or he could not be wrong, the entrance is all deice and clean.
