This was a substitution for the Huy Fong chili sauce I had ordered so I was a bit hesitant when it arrived. I can't believe some of the other reviewers said it wasn't too salty because it was the first thing that hit me and hit me HARD was just how salty it was.  By the time the flavor finally broke through I can honestly say I loved the garlic and chili flavors and the texture of the sauce..nice and thick. I'm serious when I say how salty it is, already in my head I'm trying to figure out what dishes this will work with and what it won't. Sadly I won't be able to use this much and it will be on hand for a long time and I'll make a note in preferences NOT to use this as a substitution for next time. I would not recommend or purchase this again.
