Ease Of Use

Simple to install and operate in various settings.

Reduces strain on wrists with vertical orientation.

Connection established via bluetooth or usb.

Buttons are positioned for easy accessibility.

I finally made the switch to trackball due to wrist pain and I am annoyed I didn't switch sooner! I can keep my wrist neutral and still work and play on my computer for hours without pain. Just need to finish dialing in the sensitivity and increasing my thumb coordination/scrolling accuracy, and I will be completely satisfied.

Great Product!

Logitech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For an elderly person with arthritis problems, this mouse is beautiful. In addition, it is fast, accurate and efficient. Of course, it requires a certain dexterity, but it relieves the shoulder and the arm since we use only the thumb. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Fast and precise performance

logitech-ca

Switched to an ergo setup after some P.T. issues, and so far it's been good. I used to use a trackpad, so it took me a solid week or two to get used to this guy, but it feels good now. Not moving it around like a normal mouse feels different at first, but with daily use the adjustment felt fast. Hands and arms feel much less strained at the end of the day. I don't really use any of the buttons, but it seems like there are some handy features there as well (there are some good YouTube reviews that shows them all). Bought Logitech as it has been a reliable brand for me. Would buy again.

Good ergo mouse

walmart.com

Love this mouse! I had the opportunity to try one recently and that's all it took. I had to have one. Bluetooth and dongle to connect. Definitely recommend.

I made the switch to this ball mouse, it took a few days but now I love it. People said it was big but I think its just one finger too narrow in the width and that the LR buttons are too long(close to the palm). I'd like to palm the mouse more but it feels good still and is noticeably better for my arm, also Im faster and more precise now that I'm familiar with it.

Good Ball Mouse

Using these for many years now, the ease of keeping the mouse in one spot and using the ball to move the cursor around is a total no-return to regular device use.

This is the third trackball I have owned over the last 20 years. Simple, portable, durable, and functional. It won't win any cool gamer contests, but it works great, especially for laptops or tight workspaces. 10/10 would recommend.

I really want to like this trackball. In fact, compared to my mouse, well, any mouse, really, it's a definite step up. The main issue I have with it seems to be personal. Not having used a trackball for years, I was expecting the ball to have a measure of resistance. Rather, it's very fluid, but my thumb is so shaky that I can't pinpoint anything without dropping to extreme precision mode. So I use my trackball, "Off label"; i.e. not as intended. So, now, I use my thumb and forefinger for rolling and precision, and mid and ring fingers for clicking. Works. Weird. But no strain whatsoever. This I like. Not quite a fiver, tho.

Off Label Use

The trackball itself is fine, but I didn't realize the 575S doesn't use the unifying connector. I don't want to use bluetooth to connect it, so I need another nub in my USB slots to run this.

Frustrating...

I have used this style of "mouse" for decades. This one stinks. The buttons are too sensitive and have so little travel (less than 1mm). The right button has even less. The ball is lighter. When selecting multiple files where you have to scroll; it looses control and starts auto selecting and scrolling even when clicking off window. Even when you pull the battery for a short while. I just set it down and leave it alone until it stops.

I reinstalled my old one. No issues. It is NOT my laptop. It is this piece.

Not a piece I'd ever buy again.

Logitech ERGO M575S Wireless Trackball Mouse, Wireless Ergonomic Mouse With Bluetooth and Encrypted Dongle, Black/Blue Ball Right-handed ergonomic trackball with a black sculpted shell and blue thumb ball. Optical tracking to 2000 dpi, low-profile scroll wheel, five buttons, Bluetooth or Logi Bolt receiver and one AA battery (up to 18 months). Suited for tight desks and home-office setups and often used as a compact stationary controller for media playback or productivity shortcuts.
