Last 6 years eating these beans, the same that Mexicans eat in Mexico.
It is advisable to seasoning them by friying some onions and then adding  these canned beans. Add just little water to make then less than a dough mix.

Most close to real homemade fried beans.

If you're looking for real Mexican refried beans with lard, you've found it.  For most folks in Canada this isn't what you're looking for.  Looks a bit like dog food when you open it, and it's really fatty.

Authentic... but...

Heavy on the water making a soggy mess of a tortilla. It is like the canner gave the beans a bath. Does not have the density of competing products, whether they be Mexican or TexMex. I will not buy again and will be asking for a refund.
