Love the desk. Purchased one in white a few months back. Saves space and makes a perfect corner desk. Downside: one piece that sits on the floor was missing both pads that protect the floor and more importantly give it balance. Solved with small, 1-inch inexpensive felt furniture pads.

We needed a compact corner desk in each of our guest rooms so our sons can work while they are visiting. We thoroughly researched options and found this same desk on several websites at much higher prices. At the Walmart price, we weren't sure the desk would be solid wood. It is. We started with the Mission Oak which is a warmer, more Cherry wood color to go with the headboard in one guest room. My husband had this out of the box and assembled in about 20 minutes. The quality is fantastic so we ordered the second one in the Chocolate Oak. Again, we were really happy with the quality. Ours were "sold and shipped" by Design House and they arrived faster than the estimated date. We would have been able to return them to the store within 30 days by ordering from Design House. If you love them as much as we do, you probably won't need the ability to return them but it's a good option to have. If you want a piece of furniture that looks rich and expensive, this is the desk for you.

Solid wood, excellent price; ordered another one

This desk is beautifully made. Have to say I was quite surprised at how nice it is! It's a heavy, sturdy piece of furniture that's made to last! I'm thrilled with it! Looks great too!! When I say EASY to put together... Two steps to instructions... 5 piece of wood..... 12 bolts!!!! I swear you could have it together in 10 minutes!!! Enjoy! I am!

Sturdy lil sucker!

It would have been nice if they (company) had created a lighter or golden oak desk.  Over all very nice and easy to put together!

It really couldn't be any nicer than it is. It came fast, and my son had no problem putting it together. Perfect!

Excellent value for price.    Solid construction and perfect corner fit.   The best was how easy assembly was with ONLY 2 steps.  Highly recommend.

Solid piece of furniture and so easy to assemble!

Solid and beautiful

The website says ships in one to two weeks, but I have been waiting 6 weeks and it looks like I will be waiting another two weeks for the desk to ship. This is a vendor direct item. I can't comment on the quality because I have yet to receive it. Order only if you have a couple of months to wait for it.
