This stylish cooker cooks good rice.  The design is very functional and it cooks a good amount of rice.  However a crack appeared on the wooden cover  after the first use.  The entire cover was held together by two pieces of wood on top so the lid was still usable without total separation.  It is a shame that it affects the cooker cosmetically especially a cooker at this price point.  I believe a metal or a new wooden cover could be obtained for replacement should the damage develop further into a complete separation.
