WHY EPDM PRIMER - EPDM Primer is a rubber polymer water-based roofing primer, designed for adhesion bonding on EPDM surfaces.

Liquid Rubber EPDM Primer is a rubber polymer water based roofing primer, and like its name; its been specifically designed for EPDM surfaces. EPDM Rubber is extremely hard to stick to without a quality Primer. This Primer does not react with atmospheric moisture allowing it to be opened and resealed for use at a later date.<p><b>Surface Preparation</b><br />All work surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, debris, oils, silicone, loose coatings, deteriorated membranes, and other contaminants. Clean the surface with Liquid Rubber RV Smart Cleaner; rinse, allow to dry, and wipe down with acetone prior to applying the EPDM primer (a degreaser may be necessary if contaminated with grease or oils).<br />Do not use as a membrane cleaner; not to be used on TPO or PVC roof membranes. Do not apply later in the day if rain or dew is forecast and install above 10C (50F) and rising.<br /><b>Storage:</b> Store material in original unopened containers at temperatures between 40F - 90F/4C - 32C </p>

This primer is very thin and as such spreads like water. The next day I was shocked at the finish. Extremely sticky so much that you can not walk on it or in my case put my hand on it to be able to roll the sealant on it. Time will tell but, first impression is, it does a fantastic job !!!

Compleat roof seal

Primer is absolutely needed - you want to do your projects once and it is excellent with the neopond

Pimer over cement board

Worked well, applied easily. Must wait for it to dry to a stickiness before applying the rubber. Keep any water or rain away from the rubber because it will thin out and run off the roof.

Must prime

This is more of an adhesive than a primer,  just so you are aware.I was probably expecting more of a paint, this is extremely tacky and makes planning your application really important
