These are a game changer they cancel the smell and I can just add one over without changing the bag every single time. If you let them sit just a bit all the liquid is soaked up. Fits most if not all portable commodes.

I used the liners for my portable camp toilet but didn't like the sloshing when driving in the car nor the smell. These pads smell great and can absorb a little more than 4 cups of liquid

Camping Problem Solved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose these commode pads to put inside the toilet liners during camping trips or whenever I need to use my portable toilet. The lemon scent is nice and keeps the odors at a minimum when using the toilet.  These pads are super absorbent and turn water-based fluids & body fluids (up to 35oz) into a gel within seconds. It's so nice to know that I won't have to worry about spillage!  Couple these scented pads with toilet liners to make it easy to dispose of waste! I really like the convenience of these pads!

Prevents spillage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pads except for the "Fresh Lemon Scent".  Its not strong but smells like a powder-based lemon smell that honestly reminds me of the scent of urine.  I'd rather have unscented pads; which the company does make, along with lavender scented.

These pads claim to hold up to 1000 mls of liquid!  1000 mls is the size of a large bag of saline that you see used in hospitals.  I seriously doubt any human urinates 1000 mls in one go, but it might mean that you can get two uses out of it by putting the bedside commode lid down after the first usage and keeping the pad in place for one more go later. 

The pads contain a gel that swells up to hold the liquid.  Instead of having a person urinate into a bed-side commode or bedpan and then have to carry it to the bathroom, possibly spilling urine.... you can instead have a person urinate into the bed-side commode that contains one of these pads.  To make for a truly easy cleanup, you can use draw-string bags that you can put into the commode first, then drop in a pad and urinate on that. To empty, you simply tie up the bag and toss and never have to touch the contents or clean the bed-side commode/bedpan.

I normally NEVER use throw-away stuff, but when you find your self caring for a family member in the home, then it is imperative to keep the process as easy as possible.  And making the commode situation easy and clean, makes for happier caregivers and happier patients.

Using one of these in a bedpan would be a Godsend.  No spilling!  These are ingenious and I didn't even know they made them!!!!

An Absolute Godsend!

We use these in my mother's commode. I'm surprised (and very pleased) with how much liquid these pads can absorb.

No matter with or without sent these sheets hold's the fluids. I had both lavender one, but I prefer the lemon sent better !!

They were gritty this time for some reason.
