So I'm staying in a hotel and got a candle for my room via delivery. So reviews where my guiding source. I haven't smell a Yankee handle in like 10 years. But when I think of a vanilla cupcake Yankee handle, that's what this candle smells like. Like that baked cupcake vanilla smell. It smells great. I've had it burning for around 20 hours now and it's only about 1/15 melted. I just wish it had a glass lid to go with the jar. For when i leave my hotel.

I put this under my candle warmer this morning and my whole house smells warm inviting and spicy /sweet. I just ordered four pack. It's one of the best smells ever. It is buttercream cheesecake I know that sounds sweet, but it's really not. It's a woody kind of a spicy/sweet smell. Don't pass it up. I can't stand candles that don't have a smell and I'll put a review on here every time!!!! However , this one is actually is the best smelling candle ever. The throw fills my whole condo, which is 1200 square feet!!! It's only seven dollars. Just try it out. I promise you'll love it. Buttercream Cheesecake!!!! Spicy/Sweet

Best Mainstay  Buttercream Cheesecake SPICY/SWEET

This candle has a delicious smell. It fills the room and last for a very long time. I usually burn this in the evenings for about 4 hours. And this candle will last a good a month.

just as good as  expensive candles

I don't know why this product got so many bad reviews about the scent.  When I light this candle, it fills my living room and foyer with a lovely and gentle scent.  It isn't overpowering, just like a lowkey vanilla type of smell.  When people walk in the front door, there inevitably is a comment about how good it smells in here.  So I would say it has pretty good hot throw considering the scent is more subtle.  The candle burns a long time and is a good value, in my opinion.  I don't know why Walmart stopped including the glass lids with these candles, and I do miss that, so be aware there is no lid anymore.

yeah I haven't had it for more than 5 minutes but it's great . haven't even lit it but it's great . haven't even taken it out of the bag but it's great .

Do you think you all could wait at least 24 hours

I love these candles!  Scent, long-lasting, value and bright light.  I have three burning every day from the time I wake up until bedtime.  They brighten very moment.

If you want a sugary cupcake/cookie smell to cover your house, this is the candle for you! I have bought these many times, the smell travels well, it burns well, and it lasts long. It's so yummy smelling!

If you would have asked me to rate this answer ago, I would have given it 5 stars in all categories. because I could smell the fragrance in every room and it was strongest about 7 week away or more. that is what made me but a second one this week. unfortunately, this one has absolutely NO scent at allz and no throw. it's a total disappointment and makes me less likely to purchase in the future. this week's candle should have no stars. so I split the difference and gave it 3 stars. if you're thinking of buying this, be warned...you could have an awesome experience or you may get a dud.

The candle was a good value and price quality,etc. The candle didn't have a very highly noticeable scent like others I've bought from this brand. It's “ok” but other scents are much better. I'm not gonna comment too much cuz it's cheap and not a total loss.

Smells great in the jar; creamy vanilla-and-maple scent that's not overly sweet. But when I burn it - even for several hours - I can't smell it at all.
