It would have been perfect of it still had  glass lids like they did in the recent past. .The lid safely and effectively extinguishs the flame.  If I used those thin plastic dust covers they're calling lids now, I'd be starting a fire instead of extinguishing it.  If this was corrected without a price increase, they would be perfect!

I put this under my candle warmer this morning and my whole house smells warm inviting and spicy /sweet. I just ordered four pack. It's one of the best smells ever. It is buttercream cheesecake I know that sounds sweet, but it's really not. It's a woody kind of a spicy/sweet smell. Don't pass it up. I can't stand candles that don't have a smell and I'll put a review on here every time!!!! However , this one is actually is the best smelling candle ever. The throw fills my whole condo, which is 1200 square feet!!! It's only seven dollars. Just try it out. I promise you'll love it. Buttercream Cheesecake!!!! Spicy/Sweet

Best Mainstay  Buttercream Cheesecake SPICY/SWEET

I have alway purchased expensive candles.  I always thought expensive/overpriced equals great candle.  Nope.  I hate to say it but these candles are fantastic!  I can light this candle in my living room, turn on the fan, and about 20 minutes later the whole house smells like cinnamon.  I don't burn it for more than 3 maybe 4 hours at a time but this candle is so large, it'll last a long time.  A candle this size will run upwards of $25 or more.  This candle is less than $10.  Do not sleep on these candles.

Great candles on a budget.

I use 5 of these in 1700 sq ft house. They do a great job for the price. I'm sure 2 would work well for a lighter scent. If I have friends over, I use 2. One in my kitchen/den and one in the guest bathroom. I would recommend. Yankee is beyond my budget.

I have bought this one before and liked  it, so I tried the bigger size for my son. Considering it is a less expensive candle, I'm pleasantly surprised that the scent does not give me a headache the way a lot of candles do. I don't know if that would work for everyone who gets headaches from candles, but I am sensitive to that and it didn't cause me problems and did not have an overwhelming scent, but just a pleasant mild sent. I did use it in a large open space.

Love the cinnamon smell.. every since I was a teenager in school and had started my obsession with buying candles all of the time I was instantly hooked onto this particular smell and the warm apple cinnamon smell too!! Other than the bourbon pecan pie %26 cinnamon like this one; there's not much other smells I'm to keen on buying recently though

A great value. The scent is nice but the cover is flimsy and has holes in it. Only order 1 at a time so as not to lose the scent. I ordered 2 and the scent is dim on the one I haven't used yet

Good in small quantities

bought this on clearance and I am in love with the scent!!!! I only buy mainstay candles and have for years, the sense are amazing they have a long burning time and you can't beat the price even when they're not on sale!!

LOVE!!

There was NO scent.  No Cinnamon, no scent of any kind.  
I had company and it had been lit for a couple hours before they arrived. 
I asked them if they noticed any scent in the house and they said no.  
I threw it away. 
Had a plastic cap.  You could not use the cap to snuff out this Mainstay candle.

Not sure what's going on with mainstays candles, but they just don't have a scent when lit anymore. And I've purchased quite a few, all the same result, nothing. They used to be great.
