I first bought one of these for my sofa and for keeping my short haired chihuahua dog warm. She gets so cold and this is just a dream. My dog approves!  The quality is amazing, this is very thick and heavy. I loved it so much, went back a few days later and bought two more. The other one is for me and a backup in case something happens to one of them. The price was also amazing. It heats evenly, the controller is simple, it goes from 1-6. Love it!!!!

This blanket is so soft!  It heats up quickly.  I cannot speak to the auto shut off feature to this point, I have remembered to turn it off every morning.  This blanket gets warm enough for me that I have not used a setting past 3 yet.  1 or 2 have been enough most nights.  The numbers on the control are big and bright so I can see them without my glasses or having to turn on a light.

Soft and Warms Quickly

size is perfect, softness is great, it keeps you warm even when it is not on, have only had to use it on setting 1, I  sleep like a baby warm and toasty. would recommend to anyone.

1st off I didn't have high hopes and honestly prefer to shop in a store where I can feel the item %26 check it out for myself. We were expecting cold weather %26 I needed something for warming myself while on the couch watching tv that would also work on the bed. I am very picky when it comes to reviews.  One bad one and I'll pass on an item. I did see a few reviews about the heating quality of this blanket but decided it looked softer than the others so I gave it a try. OMG this blanket is so velvety soft that I honestly wouldn't care if it didn't heat up. It arrives vacuum packed so you'll have to be patient while all the wrinkles come out. I've had mine for 2 wks and it's now wrinkle free. I'll now address the features. 
Wires - some wrote you could feel them %26 that was a negative. My opinion is...it's an electric blanket of course you'll feel the wires. But,  the wires on this blanket are really not that noticeable.  I've used it as a regular blanket on the couch and haven't noticed the wires being a problem. 
Heating - some wrote it didn't heat or didn't heat evenly. The blanket I received heats fairly evenly.  No complaints.  Yes there may be cool spots but they are small and I've found that if the blanket is folded or bunched up like around your body or feet, it heats just fine. 
Temp Settings - Range is 1 to 6. I've only used it on 3 and was toasty warm!!! 2 would have even been a good option. I imagine 6 would be too hot.
Softness - YES, I'M YELLING LOL THIS BLANKET IS LIKE BUTTA! It is so soft %26 velvety that as soon as I finish this review I'm ordering another just to keep on the couch. 
Value - Excellent!!!! 
Note : I ordered a full size bc I have a queen bed and have found that a size small works best since you don't need to heat the areas that you aren't physically in. It's perfect. I'm leaving it folded at the foot of the bed so in case I get a chill I can unfold it and turn it on or turn it on for warming my feet. I'll order either the twin or throw size for the couch

The blanket is spacious and wonderful in comfort, softness however thee most important thing is heat. It fails miserably in heat. It works, but doesn't do much in the heating compartment and because this is an electrical blanket and main function should be heat I'd say 3 stars is about right.

I got the electric blanket opened it put it on the bed (standard size 65" wide X 78" long). Routed the control wire and plug wire under the bed, on the floor, by the shortest distance to the right-side head of the bed. The control wire with the control head attached would not come any higher than 12 " off the floor, making it very difficult to the settings without getting out of bed. They need to put another 2 feet of wire on the control wire it could reach the top of a bedstand at least.

This blanket is a no from me. While the size is accurate, the heat is not. Only small spots have heated up. By “heated” I mean luke warm. The heat setting go up to 6. The wires are hard under the thin fabric. The remote doesn't work all the way. Some of the lights on the screen are not showing. If you just want a big, soft, lumpy blanket go for it. But I will be returning.

This is a dud.

At 1:44 AM, the electric blanket decided to stop working or heating up It's just displays the letter F no numbers unplugged it several times still nothing

Defective item

I bought this electronic blanket hoping for reliable warmth through cold nights. At first, it worked fine and heated up quickly. The controls were simple, and the material felt soft and cozy.

Then it just stopped working. One evening it warmed up, and the next it did nothing. It no longer heats at all, no matter the setting. I checked the cord, the plug, and the controller. Nothing made a difference.

This blanket has uneven heat. The fabric is so soft it slips off the bed. Even the slightest nighttime rollover causes the blanket to escape. There are two distinct layers of fabric so the blanket can't even adhere to itself. The cost may have been a bargain, but the blanket went back to Walmart after two nights of frustration.
