I like how this hangs on the wall, which was the reason I bought it.  
The cover is a joke. It is a piece of plastic that removes completely with some difficulty - not a hinged lid like every other DVD player in the world. 
This would not properly play the first DVD I tried, which worked fine in other players.  It was not reading its format correctly - among other problems it didn't start at the DVD Main Menu.  It did work on the 2nd DVD I tried.  I have a bad feeling about reliability in the future, but have not tried every DVD in my collection.
