Ease Of Assembly

The shipping was quick. The lawnmower did not require any assembly. Following the instructions, I set up the base station, placed the lawnmower in it, and started mapping the perimeter of an area of my lawn. It was cutting the grass in less than an hour. The app is very intuitive and easy to learn. I started with a 3” height and worked my way down to 2.2” with subsequent cuts. I am now fine tuning to remove any errors. It's on a schedule now and I have gone a week now with no intervention. It took a couple of adjustments to get here. I am completely satisfied with this mower.

Works Like A Champ

I was skeptical about a wire-free mower, but the MOVA LiDAX Ultra 2000 has been a total game-changer. The setup was incredibly simple—I just mapped the yard using the app, and it was ready to go in minutes.

What impressed me most is the navigation; it handles my shaded areas and trees perfectly without getting lost. The edge-cutting feature actually works, leaving almost no need for manual trimming. My lawn looks consistently manicured, and the AI obstacle avoidance gives me peace of mind with kids' toys in the yard. It's truly a set-and-forget lifesaver!

Smartest navigation I've seen in a robot mower

I bought the MOVA mower mainly because I didn't want to deal with boundary wires or RTK antennas, and it absolutely delivered. Installation was incredibly easy—just set up the base station and start mapping.
Once running, it works very smoothly and covers the entire lawn without stopping or missing spots, even under trees and shaded areas where my old RTK mower struggled. The cutting path is neat and consistent, and the lawn looks much better overall.
Obstacle avoidance works well with flower pots and garden furniture, even in lower light. My only small complaint is that it takes about a minute to position itself before starting, and grass close to walls sometimes needs manual trimming. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

A hassle-free lawn mowing assistant

I was a bit skeptical about switching to a robotic mower, but the MOVA LiDAX Ultra 1000 has exceeded all my expectations. Setup was surprisingly straightforward, and the dual mapping system is incredibly accurate.

Life-Changer for my Lawn!

So easy to set up and start mowing. Does a great job.

Fantastic.

Very impressed with this robot mower. The grass is always fresh cut. I have about 12,000 square feet and it takes about 8 to 10 hours to make the whole lot. I recommend this product.

Lidax Ultra 1000

super easy to set up out of the box. One caveat, make sure that the docking station is set on level ground. I had to move mine because I didn't follow that direction. teaching it the boundaries using the built-in app was super easy. although to be honest I have a hard time driving straight. The first week was a little on the rough side because I had the pathing set through areas that I thought I should pass through but it was too rugged. once I fixed the pathing it started mowing just fine and going from zone to zone without a problem. 

The rear wheels are incredibly knobby, but this does mean that it will pick up small broken sticks. That said, it is easy to clean. it is remarkably hypnotic to load the camera view on my phone and watch it mow. I only wish there was a way for it to run on my TV without relying upon casting. 
My yard is pretty standard for a Midwest yard. but it does struggle from time to time at certain locations. if the water grass spots in my lawn take off before it gets there, it'll just move around it instead of mowing it over. and that includes really permissive settings and it's still tries to go around tall grass. 
The simple solution is to take over and manually mow that tall grass over and then it's fine. 
My one major complaint, is that if it gets stuck in the yard while I'm away from home I cannot remotely move it without being close enough for Bluetooth coverage. I have Wi-Fi, it has Wi-Fi. I should be able to back the stupid thing up from miles away. That's really my only complaint but now that everything is set up right I don't really need to do that.

excellent with room to improve.

Oh my, saves me so much time for other things.  There is a learning curve setting up the map(s).  Lots of options/steps and some things need to be done in order.  Not exactly intuitive but stick with it knowing you may have a redo as you learn its capabilities but once all tweaked its good to go.  I even have mine going through a hole in the fence to get to another yard.

Wonderful, time saving once maps are tweaked.
