I started a gluten free diet recently due to skin issues. I thought it would be a big adjustment, but I'm enjoying these crackers a lot, so that helps. Good cheese flavor and I also like the satisfying puff texture. Not too pricey, either, like a lot of GF products. The sea salt flavor is similar to a saltine which I've been missing. Thanks!

These have been my favorite crackers since discovering them - until they changed the recipe. The new crackers are crunchier, I enjoy their texture. The sad part is they have no flavor now. I've tried them a few times and my stomach turns when thinking about snacking on the new version. This used to be a daily snack that I would look forward to. I do understand the need for change in ingredients but the previous recipe doesn't hold up to the new version.

Bring old recipe back pleaseeeee

This used to be one of the few safe snacks for my child. Since the addition of chickpea flour, he has had two allergic reactions. I wasn't aware the recipe had changed at first, but the second reaction confirmed it. The first reaction was severe enough to require an ER visit.
Very disappointing, especially from a company that markets itself as allergy-friendly. Unfortunately, you've lost a customer.

It breaks my heart to hear that children have been having an allergic reaction to the new recipe. I ordered a dozen boxes when Vitacost first got them back in stock without knowing about the recipe change. Thankfully I checked the ingredient list before giving them to my child. I figured I would just eat them myself as I had enjoyed them previously. The new changes are disgusting. They don't taste good anymore. I don't understand why the change? If it was to save money, they will actually loose money by loosing customers. Sincerely, the taste was so bad, I quit buying all the other products too.

New Disgusting Flavor

I've been a loyal customer for years even through the recalls. But I just realized today that they quietly changed their ingredients to include chickpeas, which my child is allergic to. Now her allergic reaction after eating these makes sense. What was once a safe snack for her is now dangerous. Very disappointed there was no warning or alert to such change. After years of purchase, I'll be buying elsewhere.

Quietly changing recipes and adding chickpeas without any warning is dangerous not innovative. For people with allergies and dietary restrictions this is not a small tweak it is a dealbreaker. The new versions also taste bad full stop.

I was a loyal customer who bought cases of these every month. Now I cannot eat them at all.

The canned corporate replies are insulting because we all know nothing will change. This is profit over people and a perfect example of a company trashing its most devoted customers.

Between this and recent recalls for plastic or metal pieces in granola bars it is clear MadeGood has lost the plot. Just another capitalist trash food company hiding behind wellness language.

We've been a huge fan of madegood for years now, one of the few prepackaged snacks that are safe and a family favourite. We were so disappointed to see the recipe change for the star crackers, and while we can still safely eat them my daughter is now refusing to, the taste is not nearly as good and they're a lot more brittle so more than normal were crushed. Please bring back the other recipe!!! Also why remove the vegetable extracts?! We need more sneaky veggie foods, not less.

We still love you Madegood, but you made a mistake

I received this item free to sample. It doesn't taste anything like cheddar flavor, it tastes very flowery and a hard shell, nothing like the goldfish crackers. I am glad that I got if free, if I had to pay for it, I would have returned it and got my money back.

Not good, don't buy

The original recipe was amazing and were the most similar to non-gluten free crackers that I could find. They became a staple safe food for me and now I really don't like them. They are very light and gritty, and the flavour seems nonexistant. I can't eat them anymore and I wish I could have the original recipe back (along with that safe food).

Please Bring Back the Old Recipe

So disappointed this company decided to make a change to add allergens to some of their products. To now include chickpea flour is dangerous for those with peanut and soy allergies as there is a high risk of cross-reaction not to mention those with legume allergies To tout yourself as an allergy friendly company is just ridiculous at this point. We loved these crackers in the past and they were a staple in our home but sadly someone made a poor decision and we can no longer safely consume them. Thanks for letting the allergy community down, we have enough struggles to deal with :(
