I like the appearance but the printing and control words could be darker but I'm used to it now.  I don't like the childproof closure and would like something easier  and not noisy as I don't need the childproof feature.

Oh, this 0.9 cubic foot micro may cost a bit more than others, but it is well worth it.  The mere fact that it is so quiet compared to others makes the price difference worthwhile.  Along with this one we bought another one for about $100 for the shop, and it is staying out there as it is much louder and just not as well built.
Glad we got this.

I've only had two microwaves in the last 13 years. This one that I just purchased three days ago and absolutely love as much as the one before it, which was also a magic chef and lasted me the 13 years!!! Anything that lasts that long is worth the money you spend on it and I am very happy so far!!!! Hopefully this one lasts the last one did!!!!

Thank goodness it has a good manual to refer to because I had to figure out how to unlock the door since I accidentally locked the door. Magic Chef is a top brand too and it was the cheapest high quality product.

Wish it had easier settings for cooking items like: baked potato, frozen vegetables. 
Also setting the timer seems a bit odd. 
You have to turn the dial left then back to the right for minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, waiting for the magic chef microwave. I have the 700 W retro countertop microwave. I love the green because I've been buying a lot of stuff lately. I just want to see what it was all about so here we go. I would rate this as a four out of five it heats up really well. It has the safety features in case you have something hot and you have a small child that's able to reach above the countertop. You don't have to worry about them spilling something hot or even opening your microwave to put the hands or something that's still hot so I love that great creature as far as like the amount of stuff that you can eat in this microwave is very limited because it's a small. It's a small space so I would say if you get to eat a larger portion of something, you would have to break it up and heat it up in separate components the heating gets real really hot so I like that. I like the fact that that I'm able to add such a small microwave that it still would heat up as much as it does so I really like that as well and also the color there it is there is my review so enjoy. I'm enjoying my mine.

It is very hard to read the selection buttons as the printing is very light. My old Magic Chef had black letters and very easy to see. The unit slides on the counter. Gripper feet would be helpful.

great product for the size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The child lock can be a pain to disable and the directions for opening the door after heating food are not the best but once I figured it out by trial and error I was happy with my purchase.  Cute little microwave perfect for my little kitchen.

Great after child lock is off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a retro looking Magic Chef from 2021 which was great.  I hate the digital clock, nothing retro about that.  It doesn't get food hot in the time the old one did - you need to add more time.  It's complicated to use and ugly.
