This is a very compact microwave but it is large enough for a dinner plate.  It has the qualities you would expect from a larger microwave.  A glass turntable, clock, power adjustments, etc.  It doesn't take much counterspace but i may still purchase a shelf to lift it because it is so lightweight.  it has a 30 second button and defrost.  The wattage is 700 which  provides enough power for what I needed.

Perfect for what I need. Compact and very attractive  I love that there's a kitchen timer and buttons for things like a baked potato. 

My only small criticism of this microwave is that it lacks rubber feet so it slides on my granite countertop when I push to open the door so until I buy some rubber feet, I have to hold the oven while I press to open the door. Other than that, this was a terrific buy.

Yesterday, my 17 yr old Mircrowave 'quit; and in just a few hrs, I'm now enjoying my new Mainstays Microwave, from Walmart ! Ordered it late last night [!AM actually] and by 10:45 Am this morning, here comes Luis, with the new unit ! Ya CAN'T ASK FOR BETTER ..THAN THAT !! ...Thanks again , Dennis, in Port Charlotte, FL ....

I absolutely love the microwave. Package perfect ,no damages ! Perfect size for my kitchen and love that it's child proof ,because I have smaller grandchildren that like to get into a lot . I have a lot of child proof items. This microwave is cute. Good price for it too . Well worth it and it works great . Thank you

2 observations: 
1- the buttons are all in french. For me it's alright cause i am learning the language, but it's a bit annoying until you learn what they all mean
2- The power is not strong, you might need to heat the food for longer to actually warm it up.
I don't use it much and I knew for this price it wouldn't be super great, so for me it suits my needs, but definetely what you pay is what you get. Not a super deal.

It's alright for the price

Performs as expected for a basic inexpensive appliance. Good for heating and reheating foods and beverages,  haven’t tried any complicated cooking procedures. Hoping to get three to five years of operation before parts or circuits burn out.

Mainstay microwave

I am not happy with this microwave. It's not easy to work especially for seniors or disabled people. It has the parent lock on it and without knowing this it was very aggravating when it came to trying to use it!! I would not recommend to seniors unless there is someone there to help them with it!!!

Hard to handle

This is the worst microwave I have ever come across in my life. Takes forever to even heat up the simplest of things.It just barely has room to sit a standard size plate in it. Don't bother trying to pop popcorn in it.  Definitely was not worth the $70 that I paid for it.
