My house is falling apart and I have to look for work arounds.

My hot water doesn't work in my kitchen sink and my stove doesn't work. I've been washing dishes in cold water but it's such a struggle that I get behind because I dread it. I have to wear gloves or the water will freeze my hands.

Hence the kettle. I needed to heat water quickly. I have a plug in skillet that I use to cook but it takes so long to heat up a bunch of water. This is the perfect solution. It takes like 10 mins to heat up and takes 2 kettles full of water to fill up my wash basin.

It's much less hassle than I've been doing and I think it's gonna help me Lee up with my dishes better.

Heating Up Water for Dishes

walmart.com

Look, I honestly bought this for my 15 year old, that refuses to read directions on anything. She thinks that whatever (Ramen mainly) can be cooked however way in the microwave, which usually ends exploding inside. (not literally exploding, I don't know how she does it) I can't praise this enough! I use it for more than Ramen of course, but I absolutely love the ease of use and easy set up.

Saved me and my microwave!!

Great value for everyday use! I bought this kettle a few weeks ago and it's been a game-changer for my morning routine. It heats water quickly and the auto shut-off feature gives me peace of mind no more worrying about forgetting it on! The 1.7L capacity is perfect for tea, coffee, or even prepping instant noodles. It's lightweight, easy to clean, and the clear water level indicator is super handy. My only minor gripe is that the exterior can get a bit warm, but for the price, it's hard to beat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, budget-friendly kettle.

Great Choice

I use this for boiling water for my French press coffee and tea plus for cocoa I ran a test when it arrived cleaned out the inside dust ran two pots of water in it and another pot of water for my French press works great a very good item .Works great

Works great.

Let me start by saying, I've gone through five keurigs in 7 years. If all you really need is one cup of coffee or just hot water, no use in spending $50 and up for a water heater. Between this and a French press, it's all of $30.

First off, what I like about this electric water kettle.

1500 w means it can boil 1.75 L of water in about 7 minutes and 17 seconds. That's pretty good. And you're not always going to need a full pot of water, so it could take as little as 1-2 minutes.

The flip up lid is pretty sturdy and handy. And the mesh net filter at the spout is also pretty useful. The windup cord feature is also welcome.

Things I wish were an option or things I wish it did in addition to basic functionality.

I wish it came in a color other than white. I don't have any other white appliances or gadgets in my kitchen. Black would have been a good basic option, And while any color pot needs to be cleaned regularly, white shows everything. I would love to see other colors, but given the material and type of plastic used, I don't believe they would be very attractive shades of primary colors. I think for instance, red would look more faded and less vibrant. I wish the plastic around the spout mesh was a little better cut and not as rough looking. I surely would give this thing 6 stars if it had any sort of insulation in it. The water will stay warm enough to make instant coffee or something like that for about an hour, maybe 2 hours. also, while the lid is nice, it's not removable. This means you're going to need a long handle brush to clean the inside of the pot.

But it really comes down to the use case scenario. Are you making a whole pot for something large? Are you making just one cup of coffee?

Overall, the fact this thing is 1500 w is pretty much the selling point along with the price. I had my eye on a vibrant stainless red model that was $10 more from another manufacturer but decided to go with function over fashion since they did the exact same thing and the other one had 500 less Watts.

So I would recommend this. And it may last for years or it may last one year, but it's it's basically cheaper than another coffee maker when I've got a french press sitting right next to it.

The kettle is 1.7L max kettle very light weight because it's plastic but has a series of white patches after water is boiled for a couple of times post 2-3 weeks of usage

Small compact kettle

This product works as it is intended but you can taste the plastic in your heated up water. The taste of the materials that it is made of is what you are drinking. I will be returning this product and upgrading back to a steel product. I had no way of knowing that it wasnt metal on the inside based on the photos. There is a metal plate with plastic sides which is not ideal to boil water in.

The inside is plastic!

this item has a problem with the on/off switch. it doesn't work as it should and requires getting the button is the exact right position to work.
i should be able to just push it down and the ekettle should come on.

defective or bad product

Defective, on my first use the water kept leaking out. I turned it off and unplugged quickly before the water mess got too bad. I dried it off and just returned it the next day. I'm sure it may have just been just the one I have that was malfunctioning but I'm probably going to look into getting a different brand altogether because I don't want to risk it again.

Water leaks

Made completely of plastic. Found higher quality kettles with glass and stainless steel for the same price range
