For under $16 Walmart Mainstay brand delivers a machine that does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do: it makes coffee. You fill it and turn it on AND IT BREWS COFFEE. Turn it off when you are done. Sleek, clean looking and unobtrusive. And it makes coffee. You can't ask for much more for the price!

It Really Does What It Is Supposed To Do!

This is the second coffee maker that I have purchased from this manufacturer.  The first one was lost due to a fire.  It was a great coffee maker, so of course it was this exact model that was purchased to replace the first one.  Simple to use, easy to clean, carafe has easy to read measurements, great price, what else could one ask for?

Must have coffee maker

Very simple and basic to make great coffee. I don't need anything fancy! This fit the bill for the price. Small enough that it doesn't overpower your countertop.

Simple and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price was great at $16. Nothing fancy to program and keeping it simple. Nothing else at Walmart or the Dollar Store even started at $25 to $30. I just got the coffee pot but so far I am loving it.

I was ready to return this coffeepot because it took too long to make a pot of coffee. Then, I decided to try unlocking the lid which was really tight. Today, it worked  more efficiently. The tight lid made the drip function malfunction so coffee did not flow into the carafe.  I've bought this pot for years because it makes a hot cup of coffee.  It last a year, then starts to make a loud sound and the base begins to rust out.  It's still better than Target, JCP options and it's cheaper.

Too slow making coffee,  just unlock the lid.

I bought this because it said it had auto shut off, but it does not. Not worth returning—it does make the coffee—it just doesn't do what is advertised!

We ordered this because we never use a timer, and this was about $10 cheaper than one with a timer on it. However after using it for a couple weeks,  there are 3 design flaws that make this undesirable. 

1) There is no auto shut off switch, you have to remember to turn it off, which I feel is a fire hazard. 2) The water fills into the top area faster than it pours into the carafe. This creates an overflow of grounds on top of the filter and into the entire well area, it is very messy to clean. 3) This may be related to the issue in %232, on more than one occasion it looked like it was done brewing, so I took the carafe off to pour my coffee, then water started coming out again onto the hot plate. So either it's backed up because of the issue described prior, or there is no functional way to turn off brewing when you take the carafe off. Every other coffee maker I have owned, cheap or not, stops emitting coffee when you take the carafe off. 

I was hopeful this would be an inexpensive no frills option, but I don't think it's worth it personally with these issues.

Design flaws not worth it currently

Very first time it was used, I had a pot full of coffee grounds.   If it doesn't line up exact,  it will happen to you.   The little piece under the filter is extremely flimsy and bends causing it not to flow properly,  creating a back up.  It was a mess.

This is the 2nd one of these I have bought - thought the first one was a fluke - but no the 2nd one did the same thing.  Water doesn't run thru fast enough - the filter fills with water so fast it gets grounds in the coffee pot.

NEVER AGAIN

I'm going to have to return it because it spills coffee out all over the countertop, with 4 different sizes of filters tried and 2 ground choices it spills out the grounds inside and on top of coffee holder and all over machine the burner onto countertop.

Was really hoping for it to be better after the comments, but now that I've read on into more details and comments it warns of this happening 

Sorry to everyone who brought it to me but I have no choice but return it and by a better quality of coffee maker
