Takes 5 minutes to assemble/disassemble (no exaggeration). Very versatile - can be used for plants, cutlery, as a bookshelf, and so much more. Doesn't look cheap either. Can't handle extreme weights, and gets wobbly, but overall very decent. Highly recommend.

I like the nice wood shelving combined with the plastic frame. It looks good even for a living room or den. the 15" deep shelves make it better than using a bookcase with 12" shelves. Very happy with them, and I always have good luck with Mainstays products. I am going to buy a couple more in the future.

great design in shelving

For the price you cannot go wrong. The weight limit on each shelf is 15 pounds, not good for something heavy. I am using mine for my Hoya collection. I don't have all the plants on the shelves yet but from the picture you can see it's going to work out great. The posts in between the shelves are textured plastic, but it's NOT noticeable at all. I would never have known they were plastic if I had not put this together. It couldn't be easier to put together if you follow the instructions. I had zero problems. Thankfully, nothing was damaged in shipment. So I am very happy with these units. The shelving goes together very securely, but because of their height, they aren't super steady. Plus, I have mine on carpet, which makes it worse. I added a couple of zip ties connecting the two units together. This helped since I cannot secure them to the wall. But if you have kids or rowdy animals, definitely figure out a way to secure them to the wall. Otherwise, they're coming over. I would buy these again.

Cons:
The shelves need to be white on both sides, at LEAST the top two shelves.

 The safety strap is a joke.

unbeatable for the price

I bought two of these shelves and was able to reconfigure them to match the available space and they fit perfectly.  The assembly was easy and I was able to do it by myself.  They were light enough that I was able to move them by myself but also sturdy enough for the intended use.  I would recommend them because the price was great and they are good quality.

This is a perfect piece for the interior of a closet. Exceptionally easy to assemble, sturdy, and attractive for the interior of a closet. It would not be a piece you'd use as a design element in your home, but is very practical for the closet.

Practical and easy assembly

Easy enough to put together. Put furniture sliders underneath to make it easier to move. The sliders also help stabilize it by giving more of a base to stand on.

Purchased this shelf to get my daughter's Legos off my dining room table. It took 10 mins to put together and looks decent and two adults to lifted off floor (to prevent it from breaking). Would definitely recommend for  inexpensive  organization. Also purchased the cube from Walmart.

The shelving unit is ideal for things that are very light if you put the slightest weight on it, the shelves band because the rods that hold the shelves together are plastic and they wobble a lot

This shelf does the trick, I bought it to hold my microwave and provide extra storage in the kitchen. I wasn't looking for something expensive/stylish, just practical. This fits the bill. At just over $20, I can't really complain. But it is not very sturdy at all, it is very shaky and makes me a little worried since I've got kids in the house. Overall, satisfied for now.

Cheap, but decent.

If your just going to stack light items like clothes then it should be fine. I was very disappointed when I put a  reasonable number of books on the shelf and after a few months it began to sag in the middle.
