Floor Lamp

I purchased nearly identical torchiere lights at both Walmart and Target (price is nearly the same ). Walmart wins by a landslide! I love this Walmart version because it securely holds the cord in place (at the bottom), has a heavier base and a slightly better lampshade! I haven't had a bit of trouble with the light switch, turning it on and off. It appears to be trouble free. I'm going to return the other ones and get the rest from Walmart!

Much Better Than Expected!

OK this isn't your typical usage. But I have these set up in my spare bedroom. I bought my first lamp two years ago. I recently decided to add a second one and I'm so happy the exact model was still available! Yeah, not the most glamorous looking. But here's the thing: It's so cheap that you're not afraid to customize it. It's been sturdy enough you can paint it, you can do whatever you want.  It does its purpose on the cheap.  Oh, and yeah, I can even make my spare room look magical for my guests.  I only wish I could buy the globe separately because that way I could just keep my globes decorated year-round and just select the different globes as needed.  But I love the fact that I can take the globes off and apply custom window film stickers that match my other decor such as in this case my blankets. They are very easy to work with that way. No, these aren't official things you can do with the lamp but whatever.  

Here's an idea Walmart! Sell the globes separately and make it an official feature including custom seasonal cling on stickers.

Sometimes cheaper is better!

Great for the winter months lighting up your home. We have numerous lamps thur out our home, great for the budget. Would recommend for home, office, dorm or walk in closet.

Excellent choice

I love the lighting.   I bought 2.  One was in perfect condition and the other one the pole was messed up.   But i did choose to keep it.   If i could get a partial refund that would be nice.

Bent pole and a gash in it.

I just moved into my apartment and can't afford a decorative one right now. this one works for what I need and the price is Great if you can't afford or don't care if a decorative lamp.

Considering I bought this identical lamp at Rona 2 years ago for $169 (!! and the switch recently broke), I am pleased to get it again for less than 1/4 the price and it all works well.

Surprised and pleased

Being all plastic, it is a bit flimsy.  The shade was especially so and wobbled.  For the price, it would do the trick for an inexpensive dorm room light or some other very basic decor.  The light itself works fine.

71" Floor Lamp

I am disappointed with these lights I really wanted them to work out.
There are too many pieces for the thin pole and they do not stay tightened.  Light does not stand straight it leans one way or the other.

The rim of the plastic shade is uneven. The pole segments are much thinner metal relative to the same product a few years ago. Cheapification. The result is a flimsy pole that barely stands up straight. It is easy to bend during assembly. They also changed the weighted base so that the center of gravity is higher, causing it to wobble when you walk past. Also, a silver color would have been a better option than grey.

Will not buy again
