Can be bulky and sturdy, but also inconsistent in texture and thickness.

I purchased this yarn for a particular Christmas project. My ideas were brought to reality as soon as I finished the last weave through on my Christmas Tree Collar with this super fluffy yarn! It worked out perfectly for this project and is extremely comfy so a blanket project will be in my very near future will some more of this yarn!

Used a social media app for instructions to make these beautiful Christmas Trees.  The color is good and it's so soft. 1 skein, 2 heavy poster boards and a hot glue gun is all you need.
One skein of your favorite color will make 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small Christmas tree.

I bought the red as well to go  with what I am making. Only thing is, is the red had more and I needed the same in the ivory. Other than that, it's a very good product. It's very soft. It's easy to work with. And I just love it.

Mainstay Chunky Cheneille yarn

This yarn has the quality of Bernat blanket yarn. However, it is much less expensive. This also makes it much more affordable when purchasing several skeins at a time. This yarn works up quickly and is quite soft. I utilize this yarn when hand knitting. Love, love, love it!

I absolutely love this brand. It stands side by side with the more expensive brands. I used this to make a blanket and blended with a name brand Chunky Yarn. It is impossible to tell the difference between Mainstays Chunky Chenille Yarn and the leading brand's Chunky Chenille Yarn.

Chunky Yarn

This was my second skein of this brand of yarn. I'm learning hand knitting and I'll admit to not being great at it, but these particular skeins (I bought 2) didn't feel as even and came out more knobbly than the previous one. I assume it was a dye lot issue and I'll be trying this brand again, but it's something to be aware of. 
On the plus side, this size yarn is perfect for hand knitting. The color is lovely and it stood up to many times of knitting and then un-knitting after a mistake was made! ;)

Great for hand knitting practice

This was a match in colour exactly ,however not as good as the Bernat yarn , and I had only been to the store 3 days previously and was told they didn't have it   Considering I drove over. 2 hours to get it but then when I ordered it the same yarn was sent from the same store that I had visited to buy it ,

Was just okay

Stay away!  Bought 15 skeins, all same color, same dye lot and as it was being knitted up there is huge color variations. Didn't see it until blanket was completed. Don't waste your money go buy reputable brands that will guarantee if this happens. Contacted Walmart and sent pictures of proof and would not do anything. Asked to bring back wool but the wool was used in my knitted blanket. Very disappointed. Cost me over $150.
