These are perfect for windows you can't put actual rods up (like apt use where no holes in the walls is restricted). These hold tight and can hold a weighty blackout curtain 2 panels worth. Follow the arrows on the rod to tighten and it holds! Highly recommend.

Easy Peasy Great Tension Rod

I didn't want to use regular curtain rods (have to use mounting hardware). So, I bought these rods to use for bedroom curtains. They work great. I think they are very reasonably priced.
They are very good quality and the extendable length makes them very versatile.

Just the size I wanted for at an affordable price!

I did not really pay attention when I ordered it to the diameter. The previous one that I had was for a more narrow window, so it was a lot smaller in diameter.

Worked

This is a very basic, simple design with a clean uncomplicated look and a sturdy feel.  I originally picked a different product that was overly complicated without clear instructions.  If you want a basic, adjustable rod, this one is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this brand/size curtain rod previously, and I was happy with them, so I ordered another.

Perfect for my windows with no trouble with installing. Very economical way to put up sheers and curtains.  Good for me as I'm not decorating -this is practical.

I need a tension rod. I ordered this one. I did not get a tension rod. There is no tension in this rod, or any of the rods for that matter. It's not that the rod was defective, they just didn't look up the meaning of the word tension. In order to call something or classify it with tension, it needs to have or be able to withstand a force that stretches or compresses it. This is an adjustable rod. There will be no tension anywhere in it. There are no springs. And to make matters worse when you expand this rod to the length that you need it, it doesn't stay there! This is a huge waste of money. Huge waste of money! If I had wanted a bar/pole, I would've gone to the garage and gotten a wooden pole/dowel and cut it to size. I needed to suspend the rod in the door frame for privacy curtains. Since there's no tension, the rod is on the floor.  

ROD DOES NOT USE TENSION!!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY ZERO TENSION (Springless)

I used it outside and it constantly falls down due to slippage as it uses a twist instead of suspension method. It does not maintain the twisted position.

The rod will not extend at all. We looked at the instructions to he sure we were extending it correctly. I mean, please, it is an extension rod. It seems to locked or stuck at the shipping length. Should be able to unscrew the two rods to the desired length. Will not budge. Do not buy.

the circumference of the curtain rod is entirely too BIG to fit sheer curtains or draperies! The circumference is the size of a shower rod! The rod wouldn't stay up either.
