very easy to install, I had my curtains up in 3 minutes.. much better quality than I expected for the price. it also comes with hangers if you choose to hang them.

These are sturdy and just the right width. For most jobs around the house.
They tighten very easily and stay in place. They look good, used them for 2 blackout panels inside a front patio, took me less than five minutes to put both of them up, and they have stayed in place very strong and reliable.  good price.

quick and easy with no assembly

I needed something that I could hang drapes with that was fast and simple...This tension rod only took me a few minutes to hang my drapes..a big difference from othed rods! The price was unbeatable- guess that's why I had to order 4 times and they were out of stock..
I finally got one! Very pleased with ease and value!

Easy to hang drapes with in minutes!

It does the job, I like you have the option of the middle bracket if need it. It held the blackout curtains that are heavy, like 2.5 heavier than normal curtains or only 1 layer curtains

Great for the price

This is a very good rod for heavier curtains. It holds it weight great as I have heavier curtains to keep the light out and no problem with the rod sliding down. I also have 2 of these.

The 1 inch black adjustable tension rod made by mainstays is excellent! It's just what I needed for my small window. I would definitely buy this again. It is very easy to install only took minutes.

It's an easy tension rod to work with overall. My only problem was I had a long width of the tension rod to cross. This caused some issues once the curtains were on the tension rod to be able to get it to firmly attached to the walls on either side, I did finally get it done, but it's probably easier for two people if you have a long space.

A good tension rod but watch out for wider needs

Won't stay up for nothing in the world! After it fell for the third time I said forget it and will be buying one to nail down. Not worth the headache.
