I wanted to replace our model 6032 dish rack in chrome which was starting to rust.  It is difficult to find online, and recent ratings were low.   Then I found this size and function equivalent, so I ordered it.  Once it arrived, I found it superior to our old rack: There is tighter spacing of the framework on the sides keeps smaller items from slipping through.  The silverware basket is larger.   Overall, I am very pleased with this dish drying rack.  It is every bit as large as the rack I am replacing, and the construction of this new rack is a bit sturdier than my old one.

Somewhat unrelated, I am still having difficulty finding a long-side-draining drip tray for underneath, but my older drip tray cleaned up nicely with some lime-scale remover, and the new rack fits the old tray perfectly.

I'm so glad I checked Walmart dish drying racks before buying mine. I just wanted a “regular” dish rack, like I used before getting a dishwasher. 
Back then, all dish racks were basically the same design, and, all came with a matching plastic tray that sat under the rack and caught the water from dishes. 
This rack is fairly large, well-constructed, and, includes a built-in silverware rack. 
There are six (exterior) places to hang-dry glasses (or mugs), and the center of the inside has the (familiar) raised wire “humps” to hold plates while they dry.
Today, there are hundreds of dish rack “designs. Most  of which cost $35-$100. 
None of them come with a tray to catch the water, but, many offer a tray, or drying “mat,” to purchase separately.
The most expensive ones don't have any place to hang glasses and/or cups outside. So, you have to dry cups and glasses upside down inside the rack; leaving little or no space for plates and bowls. Yay Walmart!

Walmart has the best, user-friendly, dish rack.

This works well. I purchased it to replace a similar item that had started to rust at the seams. Large size fits nearly any dish including cookie sheets. My only complaint is that there is no matching base for it to drain into the sink. Why you would only want this piece and never a base is confusing to me, but I will make my old one work longer.

Great size

After about a few months of use this dish drying rack started to rust at a few points. It's a good size for our needs (it's the largest metal one I could find in this style) has held up pretty well. I can stack a ton of dishes in this one!

It's too  bad it has already rusted as much as it has after 10 months.

A decent purchase

This is a great purchase. Far better than the plastic ones. Easy to wash and durable. Just the spoon stand is too wide to hold the spoons in standing position. When I put the spoons in there , all spoons falls in horizontal position as it is to wide.

Great quality

Rack has enough space for a good size amount of dishes. It fits perfect on the counter top and is very sturdy however I wished it came with the drain mat (purchased separately) too. But overall it’s worth the price and I’m not disappointed. I did give this product 4 stars ONLY because it didn’t have a drain mat.

Satisfied

Black Chrome version started rusting after a while, and not just at the joints, but it's great if you're looking to get some added flavor and minerals into your diet.

Decent Until It Starts To Rust

Today is June 5, 2026. I'm writing this review because this item is very rusted already. That's why I gave it one star and I truly don't recommend it to anyone it's a waste of money. I am very dissatisfied with it!

The brackets to support plates are too short and too wide. It will not keep anything standing other than the smallest of plates.

Not stainless steel as title states.  Light weight and flimsy.  Does not hold glasses well on long outside edges.

Cheap piece of junk.
