Went back and forth between this set or possibly getting a wooden bunk bed. This was significantly cheaper so ultimately that was the deciding factor. I must say, I'm not disappointed. It was easy to set up. It's very sturdy. My girls love it. I think it looks modern as well.

Turned out better than I expected

Worked good just don't over tighten anything or it could bend metal. I used lock tight on the bolts so they don't come loose from kids going up and down it over time. Easy assemble took a hour

Overall

We ordered this item online and picked it up at a nearby store. Hauled the surprisingly-small box up the stairs and started assembling it in my daughter's room. The bed had a billion pieces to it, but wasn't difficult to put together. The end product is beautiful for the price point. When I climbed up to the top bunk, I was surprised by how wobbly it was... that being said, it didn't wobble nearly as much when my five-year-old crawled up. My three daughters are excited for slumber parties and I have no concerns about the product. (That being said, if I had three rambunctious boys, I might have a different outlook.)

All things considered, very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend this to any family looking for an inexpensive - yet attractive - bunk bed.

Gorgeous and Inexpensive (but a tad wobbly)

Love the bed super easy 7 step process to build it. Took about 2 hours. 

Just took forever to get to us. Fedx is the worst delivery service ever. I wish Walmart would get a contract with UPS. 

The bed is sturdy and does not make loud noises when you climb up to the top.

Great bed

Overall pretty easy to set up and good price for a bunk bed. There was one spot that the metal was really sharp so we have to sand it down so it doesn't cut my kids. Other than that no issues. I love the ladder being slanted as opposed to completely vertical.

Great

My husband and I have been looking for a bed to go in our guest room that could replace a tiny twin sized bed. We have lots of family coming to stay at various times of the year and after searching high and low, pricing different beds from Murphy beds to day beds with a trundle we decided on this bunk bed set and are pretty impressed. I was able to purchase this bunk bed set, 2 beds in a bag, and a 9inch memory foam mattress for around $450, all from Walmart. Shipping was super fast through FedEx and my boxes had no damage at all. 
So for my opinion of the bunk beds.....the assembly wasn't bad at all. My husband and I were able to put it together pretty easily. We opted to use our drill instead of the allen wrenches provided. We weren't missing any hardware and all the railings were perfectly in tact and fit right together. Once we threw our mattresses on we gave it a test. My 205lb husband and my 160lb self were able to lay on the bottom bunk together with a little flexing of the support rails(according to our daughter) so we will be adding a 4x4 block underneath just to insure the most support. Myself and my daughter(102lbs) tested the top bunk individually and it held up with no problem. My husband did say he could feel every time one of us moved though. So as far as sturdiness goes, I wouldn't recommend children jumping or swinging on these beds because they will sway slightly if pushed or pulled. It's sturdy enough but we also plan to brace it to our wall for a little more added support. I feel like they will last for a good while if used for their intended purpose and taken care of properly. They look nice and have plenty of head room in the bottom bunk which is nice. The ONLY thing I dont like is the ladder. The steps are small squared off tubes that are not comfortable on the feet. I may add some type of padding to them. Other than that I'd highly recommend this set along with the other needed accessories that Walmart provides. You cant beat it for the price!!!

Excellent product for the money!!!

The bed is pretty sturdy, there wasn't anything wrong with it . My kids loved it . Only problem is there is a lot of pieces so it took me like 3.5 hours to put together . Definitely have to have patience for this bed  but I do see it lasting .

Bunkbed

Well designed and constructed with a good finish. I chose this for the extra crossbeams for mattress support, for the front ladder with a opening up top, and for the low rails on the lower mattress because I like to let my feet hang off the end of the bed. I'm an adult and my child sleep up top, which works out pretty well. It does shake and move when my child moves around up above so you feel their movements down below. My only other complaint is that a couple of crucial bolts stripped when assembling because they seem to be made of cheap pot metal but it seems to be holding. The rest of the construction is good. The lower bunk is a good height off the ground and my child loves it.

Well made and designed (except for one thing)

Purchased for my grandsons, who share a room.  I read the reviews beforehand, and expected more trouble putting it together. I put most of it together by myself. A little tricky, but not as bad as I expected. It seems like bolts /screws will need to be tightened again-may need it periodically. 
We did buy bunky boards, mostly for mattress preservation. The slats are fairly close together. I don't believe you could put regular box spring on the bottom, it would not work the way the ladder sits(which I like).
It's only been used a few days, but I think it was worth the price. Seems sturdy, and looks nice. And the kids love it!

Nice bunk bed

We bought this bed for our 10 yr old and 5 yr old boys just for fun on the weekends, they otherwise have their own rooms for school nights. They LOVE this bunk bed!! My husband and I put it together the day it was delivered. My husband's really good at this type of thing, but I have to say it was way easier than I thought it was going to be! A pleasant surprise! The only negative thing I have to say about this bed so far (we've had it for 3 days) is that it is kinda noisy. I have two wiggle worms and the bed clangs and cracks a little when they move around in bed. Overall we are happy with this bed! And the price is unbeatable!

Good for the price

I didn't have an opportunity to assemble because upon opening the package I noticed that parts of the frame were damaged. There were multiple gaps in the welding.... and from the looks of it their QC department took the day off when they manufactured my order. My 5yr old was so upset that I had to return it. She asked me to get her another one but I'd rather not risk it.
